They wanted to bring him back before Herro to make it easier for Herro to accept the scoring 6th man role, but it didn't work out how they wanted it to. Miami utilizes the people on the inactive/medical issues roster for their benefit more than I've ever seen another team utilize it for that. I'm surprised more teams don't do it.
I think Miami held Herro out longer than he needed to be but can justify it by saying they're being "safe".
I legitimately think they put Tyler through a mini off-season program so he could be geared up and fit for the playoffs. Tyler is playing right now how he has started the past couple seasons--stronger handle, more physical at point of attack, drawing more fouls, etc. MY concern has been that Tyler can't keep weight/muscle on as the season goes on and he wears down. I suspect that the Heat and Tyler agreed to give him a mini off-season training regimen for this late season push.
It's not a coincidence that Tyler's best playoff performance was his rookie year, being able to benefit of the COVID "off-season" before the playoffs started.

So, they pushed Duncan to get out there without being 100% but were taking their time with Herro to make sure he was healthy, I have to say, that's not very logical to go in 2 different directions to your volume 3pt shooters that you'll need in a couple of weeks for the playoffs.

For Lillard to get to Miami it's going to be a 3+ team trade since neither Miami nor Milwaukee can take in more money than they send out and Milwaukee doesn't have much left in assets so it would be up to Miami to entice additional teams to take on salary for them, so to get Lillard to Miami not only are you having to trade assets to get Lillard, you're sending out additional assets to get other teams to take on more salary (maybe a lot more salary). I don't see it happening since Miami sent out a 1st for Rozier, it would really be stupid to send out a 1st for 1/2 a season of Rozier and then trade him and more assets for the chance to acquire Lillard.
What I see is Miami unloading one or both of Robinson and/or Herro to save money, get out of the tax and possibly get some assts/value contract rotation player(s). I expect Miami fans won't be happy with the moves Miami makes this summer, I believe they will look towards internal development of Jovic and Jaquez Jr to help keep moving forward with the Butler, Bam, Martin (resigned) and Rozier build.

We’ll see, the 1st they traded for Terry likely would’ve been sent for Lillard so I don’t think they’ll care either way.

In my mind? I think it's logical to say they brought Robinson back while he wasn't 100% with a few weeks left in the season so why did they do that and give Herro extra time off to give him a mini off-season? It's seeming beyond ridiculous to treat two important players extremely different bringing them back from injuries near the end of the year. Sure, they're not "facts" for sure but logically that's what happened unless you'd like to explain why they brought Robinson back while obvious still hurt a few games (and now out again after bad performances) before they brought Herro back.

And you think Milwaukee will want Rozier? I'm not too sure Milwaukee would want to stay in the tax or in the 2nd apron to downgrade to Rozier and add another player Miami has available to trade even if it's Herro or Robinson or whoever, but you still have to get close to matching salaries as Miami will have to also offload salaries to a 3rd and possibly 4th team. I would think Milwaukee would want assets to allow them to go out and pick what other players they trade for vs getting the prize that is Terry Rozier.
If Lillard is moved somewhere else he doesn't like, I'll feel bad for the guy, he was so loyal to Portland till Portland's FO wasn't loyal to him. Now he may end just being a possible negative/bad contract that keeps getting tossed around in the NBA like CP3 has been vs having the respect of his former organization to send him somewhere he felt he wouldn't get jettisoned around the NBA. These kinds of situations have turned my favoritism towards the players vs organizations.

I have no true insight into the specifics of each of their injuries or the medical guidance given for each.
I also question the conspiracy theory that they gamed Herro and Duncan's injury timelines specifically to stroke Herro's ego while simultaneously posturing to bring him off the bench.
A whole lot of fans (including myself) filling the voids in information and time going on here. But, hey let's get "beyond ridiculous" and talk logic based on all of this.

Bucks traded for Dame despite his wishes and then used him as an off ball spot up shooter and it backfired, I’m personally not surprised but then again I am because how the hell are you going to trade for Dame and then not use him effectively lol
