That backcourt call absolutely screwed us

unfortunately JJJ was at the centre of like three or 4 bad plays down the stretch. Bad foul on Embiid, Reckless driving almost leading to turnover, passing to Herro near the Half court line, dribbling the ball into their hands and prob more I'm forgetting.

Not just passing near the half court line, but while he himself was running full tilt towards the half court line. All the momentum pointing that way, and didn't give enough space for Herro while drawing another defender with him to cut off his space.

Quite frankly, I give zero blame to Bam for the loss. This is who he is, putting up the same numbers for the past four years now. He’s not Bosh.

And I’m gonna blame Herro, because the team decided to put the offense on his shoulders and he didn’t deliver. Simply, we win if he has a better shooting night.

Yes, Herro imo is to blame for his performance.
And I wouldn’t blame Bam either for this loss as he didn’t do anything to win nor lose, however I do also question Spo’s lineups, and it includes having Herro as a PG and chucker, although no one else was doing much.

This is exactly why I didn’t want Herro back. Guy comes in and takes 30 shots?! If it wasn’t for his decent 4th qtr and that last stat pad 3, this would’ve been an all time horrible game. Herro back and thinks he’s this superstar that he just isn’t. Jimmy took the ENTIRE season off just to get hurt in the first play in game. That strategy doesn’t work. And Bam, will never be that guy. Defensively he is great, but he is an offensive liability.

If we get bounced by Bulls/Hawks Riley will blow this up. And if we sneak past them, when we get destroyed by Boston in round 1, Riley will again, blow this up. And it’s about time too

Spo and this organization just keeps going down too the well one too many times. Our bench 4 and 5 spot needs a massive talent upgrade. Bam is just not aggressive on the offensive end. It is who he is as a player. Nobody had to tell guys like Jordan, Kobe, Wade, Shaq, or even guys like Carmelo Anthony, Glen Rice, or Antone Walker to be aggressive on the offense end.

For better or worse, Herro is aggressive on the offensive end. Some guys have all the tools, but they don't have the mental makeup. Other guys don't have the tools, but the have they have a confidence which exceeds their skillset/ability.

Highsmith is Spo's new "special project". Every season there's some scrub on the roster that gets a bunch of inexplicable minutes. Dude must be killing it in practice.

Bam is a great player and will be here till he retires. Can we stop thinking he’s going to magically turn into a consistent scorer. He does other things at a championship level.
