Hauser puts up more points with six clean looks from three than the Magic do as a team in entire quarters. But I've been told that the coach of (by far) the most efficient offense in NBA history shouldn't be in the COY conversation over the mastermind of Orlando's offense. Alright.

And if Lebron didn't miss the most open 3pt shot in that game, Denver would have lost.

A defending champion beating a play-in team at home isn’t a reason to think Denver is unbeatable. Although this Jokic stat might be, unless you have a Bill Russell on your team:

https://www.statmuse.com/nba/ask/most-playoff-games-with-20-points-20-rebounds-10-assists-by-a-player
"I think the criticism's stupid," Stevens said. "So I don't care. I'm with Jaylen (Brown) on that. Those two had achieved more than most 25 and 26 year olds ever had. I'd rather be in the mix and have my guts ripped out than suck."

We need to drown them in 3s, something like 25/60. Then they will lose focus and get beaten. Otherwise they’ll win. They will also win every single close game. We need to bombard them to oblivion.

It won’t be easy beating Nuggets, but glory and immortality isn’t supposed to be easy.

This is the biggest thing IMO. They execute perfectly at the end of games. Will be really tough to win any close games against them.

Knicks will be tough to beat in the east finals.

But NY has to finish off Philly then beat the Bucks.

So my cold meds kicked in and I fell asleep during the break between the 1st and 2nd quarter of the Lakers/Nugs game. While I'd love to see the Nuggets play more games if they're going to be our Finals opponent I can't get mad at the Lakers losing in demoralizing fashion either.

FUN FACT: The Sixers are the only team in NBA history to drop confetti literally in a home loss and drop confetti figuratively in a road loss.

Sixers broadcast team is the worst.

The Wolves are the only team in the West that can give Denver a real series anyway. Not sure why they are the only ones to figure out that having more than one NBA big when you play in the same conference as Jokic might be a good idea but here we are.

Teams probably know that. Just not a lot of decent and cheap two-way bigs in the league to choose from. Even the Cs who have 5 bigs will have a problem defending Jokic actions. I don't think we have anyone who can guard him one-on-one so KP/Luke can act as the roamer. Maybe Tillman, but he's still too small.

NBA is just protecting Embiid from himself and wants this to be a short series.

Are there any consequences for officials who consistently miss calls like this? It's nice of the NBA to acknowledge mistakes, but the acknowledgment only makes sense if they correct things so they don't happen again (especially in The Age of Betting).

Yep, refs are constantly graded/evaluated. But that grading system and the consequences aren't transparent to the public. I heard/read once they could be omitted from postseason reffing but we've seen the same refs in the playoffs year after year so ¯\_(ツ)_/¯.
