Good lord those commentators are insufferable.

-Brunson "push-off no call."
-Maxey "throw to the ground."
-Nurse calling for time-out

I get Breen is also a national broadcaster so he won't be as biased but you have to appreciate how he never acts like this. What a joke the Philly crew is.

Embiid to me has always had an air of negativity about him as a human being/personality, and I believe it’s a strong factor in why he folds year-in year-out when it matters. Just my opinion, but Randle has similar energy.

People cried when we lost Randle, but we are very lucky to have one season of the Nova Knicks. This feels more like ncaa March madness than the nba playoffs right now, and I’m loving it. Randle is the second best basketball player on our roster, but sometimes the sum of the parts does not equal the whole. This group is very special as is.

I know people think I'm joking, but I much rather have Bogdanovic knowing his role and trying to fill whatever void Randle left on this team.

I know I'm a broken record here. But in playoff basketball, Randle is your ideal match up for anyone... players, coaches, scouts. He's just too easy to make a game plan again and frustrate. If he's not outperforming on scoring, he doesn't offer much else except turnovers. He turns into a blackhole.

Hart + Robinson have been able to pick up the rebounding slack.

Ok. So....we did win that game last night huh? I thought I was dreaming the whole thing when I woke up! We really took that game away from them after Lowry missed the second FT!! I really have nothing to say about the rest of the game. The last 30 seconds says it all! Holy shyt!

Without sh*tting on Randle, just look at how Hart and Donte have thrived in his absence. Imagine OG was benched on that final scramble play. iHart tosses to Randle — does he immediately rotate the ball to DDV? I doubt it. He’s trained to be the alpha. Even if he does rotate without hesitation, does Donte shoot with zero hesitation? Again, I doubt it because Donte is trained to defer to the alpha. It muddies the roles and psychology just as much as the Xs and Os to have him on the court.

Maybe there’s an upper limit to our scrappy hustle Nova Knicks, but IMO that limit is higher than the current roster plus Randle.

I was thinking about this and the fact that we were allegedly looking to swap Randle and half the team for Embiid.

But in fairness to Randle his attitude and demeanor(and overall play) was a lot better this year, before he got injured. Feel like he's also accepted that this is Brunsons team.

The counterpoint to this is that Brunson would have a ton more room to operate if the Philly defense had to worry about Randle and the game might not even be close down the stretch.

Losing Randle has improved our defense and made our offense more diverse. Losing him has also made our offense less sustainable over a 48 min period and puts a lot of strain on Brunson, which is why we keep having lulls.

Perk is 1000x more of a fan than Stephen A. I think he actually prefers for us to lose because it fuels his narrative of being a depressed Knicks fan.

It took Shannon and Legs to say it was more than Maxey getting fouled. It was the hustle, offensive rebound and made shots from the Knicks. Give us our props. I also agree with Shannon, the refs not calling that to determine the game.

SAS is a lot like some fans here - specifically FN11, KnicksGod, seren, spree8, sol537 and Bob Ross. Reading some of their posts right before what happened is embarrassing.

I will have faith that Brunson will figure it out. Philly has bothered him all season, so clearly they deserve a ton of credit for their gameplan against him, but I also think he's pressing a bit and either moving a beat too fast or too slow on possessions.

But there is no doubt in my mind that Brunson will crack a game open in this series at some point.

After all he did for this franchise and for the leader and warrior he's been, it's actually unfathomable to me how any true Knick fan can doubt him.

30-40%? Maybe even 50% with the way that game ended.

It's wild. The city is dead down here. You'd never know they were in the playoffs to be honest.

Maxey pushed off, Philly can suck it. Couple that with Embiids flopping and them overturning the blatant whack on Divincenzo from Lowry a couple minutes before the end, they get no sympathy from me.

And Nick, learn to call a timeout with authority rather than waffling on the sidelines with your hands in the air. Instead dude was prepping for his weekly post-game b*tching to the media I guess

We won 2 despite Sixers gameplan going to perfection

If Brunson plays like Brunson or if we stop one of Embiid or Maxey, this is a clean sweep

Don't be ridiculous, with randle there's less need for scrappy plays because the knicks are conformably ahead, they cant focus jb like they are now, oubre and harris cant guard randle, if they gonna put embid on him and that'll be it for his knees

Also if anyone can find that clip of Landry at the FT line that would be assume I was looking for the clip and I couldn't find it.
