How the REFS handed the game to Knicks in the last 3 minutes:

1) a DEFLECTION by Nesmith was deemed a kicked ball, Knicks ball. Knicks proceed to hit a 3 and take a 3 point lead

2) Phantom moving screen call on Turner with 17 seconds left disallowing Pacers to tie or take the lead in the game.

Wasn't a Phantom call, it was textbook moving screen.. but yeah they normally don't call that so I'll give you that.

I just had to watch 5 straight games of Bam Adebayo so i consider myself an expert on moving screens.

If theyre gonna call that, the entire league fouls out in the first half.

I agree, but it is still a moving screen.

How would we feel if they didn't call it and Pacers get an easy bucket because of the moving screen, I doubt people would have this energy if the Knicks were screwed over by a non-call there too.

The knicks got the benefit of the kicked ball call. That was the only call that wasn't reversed. Everything else was reviewed and called correctly.

They had a good basket called a shot clock violation. Also, the ridiculous overturned foul call on Brunson.

I hate the knicks as much as the next guy but this was absolutely not on the refs. The Turner call was iffy but everything else was legit.

No way - the Hali foul they had to challenge and lose a fastbreak and then the kick ball. Huge swings there.

it looked like a reach in. You can't expect the refs to get 100% of the calls right. They challenged and the pacers rightfully got the ball.
You guys focus too much on the refs. What about all the mistakes the Pacers made?

Regardless of the mistakes the Pacers overcame them and put themselves in a position to win only to have the officials hand the game to NYK.

Real story of this game should not be refs...it should be how underwhelming and disappointing Haliburton was. Like this dude isn't even attempting to score...it's also not like he is doing some crazy playmaking out there either. He is playing like a role player out there

Nah, the REAL story of this game is definitely the refs. You can't call a game that bias then expect ppl to forget about it.
Players have bad games, that's why you build a team that doesn't revolve around that one player to win. Pacers played better than the Knicks and they were **** over by the refs

But you're severely underrating that bad kick ball call. It directly led to 3 Knick points.

Not even close. The Brunson foul on Turner. The Haliburton 24 second violation that was never reviewed even though the shot was off in time.

There were a lot of calls that went the Knicks way, questionably.

I'll give you the kick but phantom foul? The Pacers challenged that call and it couldn't be overturned. It was a lot of contact, you can't hedge on a screen. Usually doesn't get called when star big men do it though.

You don't make that **** call with 12 seconds left. Period

What if the Pacers got a super easy bucket because Divo got knocked to the floor and the Knicks had to play 4 on 5 for a second and they get an easy layup. I doubt people would be saying the Knicks got screwed despite the moving screen giving the advantage to the Pacers allowing them to score..

I get it, they don't normally call it, but it was a moving screen and I'd like to see it called more often if anything, guys like Bam do it on every screen and its terrible.

Yeah, I rewound on Max and noticed it was fair.

Ya that was obviously good in real time. Cannot believe they blew that call.

Also call two ridiculously soft fouls on Pascal when he was fighting for DREB which effected his ability to fight for boards rest of the game.

If that should have been reviewed by the replay booth during timeouts, and they didn't count it, that should be grounds for a protest.

A couple of tough whistles. Refs not the reason the Pacers lost. Hali was non existent (I think he’s more hurt than they lead on). Knicks scored 39 in the 4th. The Pacers had zero chance of stopping them down the stretch. 2 bonehead fouls before the ball was inbounded made a big difference as well. Pacers had plenty of chances to pull away and not leave it up to a whistle. This is from a Pacer fan.

Next season, the NBA needs to change the 'No challenge' on the kick ball rule, obviously not the Knicks fault, it's bewildering that ref didn't see it came off the hand.

He should be banished for the rest of the playoffs.

I am not one to believe in officials taking bribes for betting purposes, but sheer incompetence like that makes me wonder.
Apologies for dissing the Knicks, NYK fans, Brunson had another iconic game and I shouldn't have been so insulting/disrespectful.

Just still so mad at those refs. The players and fans are not to blame at all for such appalling home town cooking, mind you I still think DiVo took a massive flop and should have been punished for it.

And yes Haliburton needs to take some accountability for the Pacers loss too no doubt.
