It's the Indiana Pacers not the Indiana Haliburton's.

I was at the game, I thought it was called fairly. Our all star showed up and yours didn’t. Better luck next game!

The NBA showed everyone tonight that this series is already over.

They have no plans to give Indiana a chance in an already uphill battle against a better team.

Congrats on being in the ECF. Series is already over.

Lmao. Didn’t even mention Brunson, but don’t lie it definitely was foul baiting. not to mention those ridiculous calls at the end.

I was splitting time watching the panthers bruins playoff game that was on at the same time. Not that I’m a big hockey follower but it was on so I was watching.

As for your little Knick compatriot who thinks I’m salty lol. Dude is posting picks of Sprewell…..SPREWELL?! I literally had to look up how long ago this mfer played for the Knicks  my man it’s 25 years ago. Move on. Are you Jets fans? I’d be like me bringing up the Marino clock play as a troll today. That’s how sad the last few decades are. Some things are better left unsaid cause it shines a light on your own team’s sad history.

This hasn’t been a rivalry for me in a long time. I’d even root for the Knicks if they play the Celtics. Sorry Knick fans. I just don’t hate you the way you want me to 8-)

Well let’s hope the team doesn’t give up when faced with a little adversity as easily as the fanbase does!

Every team has these nights. “The officials screwed us!” It sucks, we all do it, and it’s usually our frustration shining when we’re mad about a loss. That’s the case for Pacer fans tonight. Calls can be complained about on both sides, but to imply any one call made THIS game a win or a loss is foolish.

You can think what you want. I believe the NBA/refs decided who would win this game and not the players. I've just seen too much to think its just an honest mistake at this point. Always seems to favor certain teams/players. The Charlotte Hornets are never getting these calls, but you look at a Laker the wrong way and its a trip to the free throw line.

Whether it was on purpose or not, the refs decided this game, not the players, and if the refs are deciding these games, what is the point of watching?

I don't think it's fair to "both sides" this one. There were mistakes that went against us that suggest incompetence more than malfeasance to me, but we benefit from more of those f*** ups than went against us down the stretch. So I don't think any Indiana fan is wrong to say the officials screwed them or that we stole this one with some help.

Where people lose me is when they argue that's because the game was rigged. That's not how refs have match-fixed basketball in the past, and the call Thibs had to challenge at the end points to a crew that should not be working playoff games, rather than one actively trying to ensure our victory.

Anyway, it is what it is.

Nearly every NBA fan saw what happened tonight, I understand why Knicks fans don't want to admit it - thats fine, everyone else saw what happened.

I just can't think of a reason to watch this anymore. Genuinely doesn't feel like a sport to me at this point.

Again, this isn't something that just happened tonight, Nuntius can tell you how much I hate what the NBA has become, I just thinking tonight might have been the straw that broke the camels back for me.

I genuinely doubt I'll watch another second of this series outside of me being at work, hopefully my love for the Pacers can die so I don't have to deal with this awful league anymore haha.

Congrats to Knicks fans, I don't think ya'll deserved tonight's win, but I do believe you would have won the series even if the refs were fair. Best of luck in the ECF.

The Knicks were on a 7-0 run in the 4th and then the refs called a soft foul which killed momentum for New York.

People can complain that refs were bad, I agree, but to say it was one sided is just plain wrong imo.

SUMMARY OF THE LAST SEVERAL PAGES OF THIS THREAD
FOR ANYONE WHO DOESN'T WANT TO READ IT ALL:

1) The refs made several bad/wrong calls the entire game
2) Ignore all the bad/wrong calls made during the game. Those don't count.
3) Complain about all calls within the last minute of the game, because it didn't provide the desired outcome.
4) Blame the refs for the Indy loss. The Pacers played a perfect game and had nothing to do with the loss.

So sure, maybe 95% of non-Knicks fans who have no dog in the fight are wrong and Knicks fans are the only correct people.

Btw if I see an Indiana fan complain about flops or foul baiting after having cheered on Reggie Miller in the 90s against the Knicks, then I don't know what to tell you. Dude was kicking his legs after 3 pt shot looking for any type of contact on the defender.
