Amazon To Own Rights To NBA Cup, Play-in Tournament

Amazon will get the rights to the NBA Cup and Play-in Tournament in the next media deal, according to John Ourand of Puck (h/t Sports Media Watch).

There was a possibility that the league would sell the rights for the two tournaments as part of a separate deal.

The Amazon deal is likely to include a conference final every-other-year, as well as Saturday games.

ESPN will carry regular season games on Wednesdays as part of the new deal.

So is this going to be a thing where we all have to subscribe to 5 different streaming services to watch all the games during the season?

Not me, I'll continue to use the website I have been using to watch all the NBA games as well as other sports (NFL, UFC, etc) for the wonderful price of zero dollars and zero cents.
