He was clutch/closed this game out when we needed it, and made crucial FTs

Bit disappointed with Tatum in the final quarter, but we had Jaylen and Jrue to carry us home.

Much rather win ugly than loss pretty.

Props to Cleveland for playing hard and gritty without Spida, Garland was a headache in that 2nd half.

Jrue smokes it easily. Tatum ruined his great 1st half performance with horrendous decision making in the 2nd.

Jrue for CP, 16 points, 7 rebounds, 5 assists on 55% shooting

JB of course sucked again with 27 points, 8 rebounds on 60% shooting including a big three pointer with a minute left in the game.

Cavs were caged in what might just be their last home game of the season. They had nothing to lose and decided to just be pesks defensively and launch 3 pointers

They took 48 threes.
Caused some turnovers
Committed a million fouls

Celtics took the punch and returned and didnt back down.

It's just hard to get a comfortable lead when Al and White kept missing their shots.

But hey, that's why the Celtics have 4 players getting 30m per year.

We played a mediocre team missing their two best players and won only by 7. Happy with the W but also feel like going to the GB to spread some Celtics hate.

Yes, but their best performances all year are when only one of Mobley/Allen play and one of Mitchell/Garland play. They have been best when it is Allen and Mitchell though so we were lucky there.

We didn't play that great, but we beat a team playing a must win game in front of their home crowd, I'll take that.

Al again looked like he needs a few days rest. Shouldn't be playing as many minutes.

Jaylen posted a 27/8 line on 9-15 shooting plus a big shot at the end - yet it was one of his worst games of the playoffs so far IMO. In the second and fourth quarters he kind of killed us with a few bad TOs and bad shots and it knocked our guys out of sorts.

Hope DWhite is ok, looked like he left the court to get something taped up, noticed him grimacing late after failing to save an out of bounds ball.

Also, one of bisme's better thread titles, and that's saying something

Jrue for vc easily, Tatum cp. Brown was a mixed bag but I thought he had some huge plays.

Horford really sunk this team tonight. Some of those shots were wide open and he has to hit them. The defense I understand as a 56 year old it will be tough at times, but the practice jumpers have to go down at least.

Anyways..close this **** out with no mercy in game 5 and let’s move on to bigger better places.
