They lost it in game 1 and 2. But watching this unfold and the Wolves getting smashed at home in game 5 I believe the Mavericks would have won anyway, even if they had lost game 2.

I can't stand the Celtics just like I can't stand the Nets. So I hope they lose.

Luka's one of the most talented players to ever play the sport and I like to see these players win.

Playing with Kyrie (and perhaps his injury) has also led him to decreasing his usage to healthier levels in the playoffs and I do believe it's helped their run, even as he remains the main driver of their success. They look more like a team.

Boston are the favorites and they have the more balanced roster but Dallas have the best player in the series much like Golden State did two years ago. It will be an uphill climb for Dallas, but I think I'm picking them to win because of their top-end talent.

u mean to tell me u think both Kyrie and luka are just gonna brick out 4 straight games?

I think the idea was that Minnesota lost games 1 and 2 by a combined 4 points despite both Edwards and KAT shooting like less than 30% from the field. Had they had performances anywhere close to their average, or even slightly below that average they would have likely won one, if not both games.

I personally thought they'd definitely take game 5 but Luka just went nuts in the first quarter and took all their energy away. Will be an interesting finals series.

Would be shocked if Jason Kidd and Rick Carlisle don't talk about the Celtics a bit before the Finals.

I want to especially thank the Brooklyn Nets for creating this finals. Thank you Brooklyn Nets.

Kyrie trade
Tatum and Brown draft picks

What's fcking next? Houston's 3rd pick will become a superstar and they get a road to the finals as well?

**** I dunno if it's me being a massive homer but I feel like the Knicks could have wiped the floor with the Mavs if we met in the finals and guys were healthy.

**** the Mavs for making me root for the Celtics. **** the Celtics too. **** both teams!

i get not wanting to root for boston - but seeing the Mavs tank last year and in the finals the next doesn't feel right either.

boston has been a team in the mix to win for years - them finally getting it done feels more deserved than the Mavs having a somewhat fluke run and winning after being in the lottery (intentionally) the year prior.

KP is a nice dude. I'd be okay with him getting a ring.

i dislike irving more than KP for whatever reason. KP's exit was rough but it did help set the wheels in motion to where we are now.

It's loss loss.

Celts win.. and its like F@ck them they are are the Celts.

Mavs win - f@ck that cheating low rent organization and f@ck Cuban, and F@ck Silver for giving him slaps on the wrist.

That said I think the Mavs win because they have 2 of the best closers in the league - along with Brunson . They have filled their need for big dogs and they are quite loaded overall.

I think the Celtics are coasting on Talent and regular season win count. When you watch these playoffs they havent looked dominant versus some piss poor competition. I think their defense is fugazy and will be scrambling to guard Dallas...

If they (Celts) lose it will be a very bad look for them. I would really enjoy the ensuing chaos as a result. :D So go Mavs...I guess....kinda....sorta .... :x
