I picked us to lose to the warriors. This ain't that though. We are flat out better than the Mavs. If we decide it's our title, there's nothing the Mavs can do about it. Just gotta play close to our potential 4 times.

The Celtics lost the 22 finals because they had terrible spacing and could not score. We lost that series on the offensive end. Won't have that problem this time around as this offense has supreme spacing.

You looking at the single number one reason I hated our coach at that time.. it's like he had no understanding on how spacing can affect our star players.. and there was definitely good spacers on the roster..

We had marcus smart and Rob Will in the lineup. They don’t actually consider those guys scoring threat. Rob is only a lob threat, and since we don’t usually attack the basket, and just jack up 3’s. He’s actually useless on offense. Smart lol. They just let him be free and dare him to shoot, just so they can double the Jays. Won’t be the same this time. We just need to mix it up inisde outside.

I agree. The public, meaning mavs or fans that hate the celtics are buying it. We are heavily favored, and they are pushing this all time great combo of Kyrie and Luka to offset that, getting excited and confused lol. Good for the ratings though.

We all know how great Kyrie was in his first 40 games in Boston when team was still on pace for 70 win season. Since then his career was marred by a lack of focus, crazy talk and poor professionalism. That said, he was never a bad guy - ie. drugs, assaulting girlfriends, hated by teammates etc. - and clearly took care of his body and is dedicated to his craft.

Given all that, he is a serious threat right now given that he seems to have bought in 100% in Dallas and seems truly happy, grounded and dialed in.

I am actually happy for him even though I still despise what he did to Ainge’s incredible rebuilding effort after Big 3. It’s hard not to want a guy as talented as he is to be the best he can be. As fun as it was to see him implode with the Nets, I’d rather see him be at his best and beat him anyway.

Annoying thing is even if the game ends at 4am, win or lose there’s no going to sleep for a while after that.

It's not a popular opinion, but I think we have the best player in this series. He just has to play like it. And even if he's not on the same level as Luka on offense, he gives it his all on the other end, which should matter.

Anyway, however you view Tatum v. Luka, Cs have 6 of the top 8 players in this series. Make that count, Cs, by playing the right way as a team on both ends. I don't think we've seen our best yet this entire playoffs but we've done enough to get here. Time to hit that next gear(s).

You don't have to win it for Bill, Tommy, or all the legends that have gone on the quest to 18. You just have to win it for me lol.
