2024 WNBA Season Discussion Thread

While I love Angel on the SKY....

The Mystics dropped the ball, not getting Angel. She would have done numbers for their attendance and visibility since she is from Baltimore. They slept on what she could have done for their franchise.

That arena was packed because of her homecoming...

The Visibility of the SKY has went up alot since Reese got there.

I agree, but I am keeping my eye on Aaliyah Edwards on that Washington team. She's starting to figure it out, I think she will be an all star sooner than later.

The Mystics looked really bad against the Sky. Fever should get a comfortable win here. They are rested and more talented. Plus the Mystics played last night.

Clark might drop 35 tonight.

I mean, it would be a no brainer to send Paige to the Valkyries from a business perspective but I'm not sure how this all works.

I mean, it would be a no brainer to send Paige to the Valkyries from a business perspective but I'm not sure how this all works.

So, far as I can tell, the Dream were given the 4th pick outside of lottery rules, meaning the WNBA did the lottery and then gave the Dream the 4th pick

I find it highly unlikely they would just give the expansion team the 1st overall pick given that it'd run counter to the point of the lottery to pre-determine who's getting the #1 pick, but they could do like the NHL does I believe where they put them in the lottery at 4 or 5 and then see how it ends up.

Yeah it's kind of frustrating because their defense just craters out of nowhere and then they turn the power back on.

I do like however having a 5 of Jonquel/Stewie/Thornton/Betnijah/Sabrina. That is elite spacing and size across the board. I hope Vandersloot will be okay
