I think the fact you’re all talking about her is a pretty good indicator as to why she’s on.

Can you come up with a reason that’s rooted in reality instead of being snide over the internet for brownie points from a woman who doesn’t know that you exist?

Bruh no need to be so mad.
It’s the same reason people watch Stephen A and why Bill Simmons’ engagement goes up when the Celts lose.

I was always confused about the negative comments about her but it’s feels like the last year or two she’s been getting worse. Probably some changes from the higher up people and/or age but who knows.

Not the same. I can't stand Stephen A so I never watch him. I can easily avoid him. I don't watch pregame or halftime or anything else he's on. I can easily avoid Simmons too. But Doris is on the actual game I want to watch, she can't be avoided unless I mute the game. Which I often have to do. As Human said, she used to be decent, but the more airtime she got the more full of herself she got.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Doris Burke 1,000,000% should’ve be axed when ESPN made their huge salary cuts. She’s a hack.

I can at least on some level get the entertainment value of Stephen A or Simmons, Doris has always been lukewarm blah at best so its confusing why she's been kept around so long. I can't imagine there are too many actual Burkeheads out there. ESPN/ABC/Disney is the most to blame for their terrible broadcasts tho, the over the top commentary is definitely at their direction. I know its hard for women on TV but having a voice that's not grating to listen to should be one of the main qualifications, Reggie Miller is even more nails on chalkboard bad with even more biased uninformed takes so she's not the worst of the bunch.

Nobody is mad. There are other default emotions on the internet. Was just wondering if you could come up with an actual reason instead of a passive aggressive “WELL, you guys ARE watching so that answers the question.” Apparently not!

SAS and Simmons don't make any illusions as to who they support. Like MD said, I can easily just not listen to the latest BS pod b/c you know it's going to be like listening to a boston post game radio show.

Doris is a national commentator and has been unlistenable during Boston games. Her droning on about how impressive Tatum's game was going during the 3rd quarter b/c he only took 9 shots while the Mavs are in the middle of a huge run made me have the biggest eye roll in a long time.

I think Tatum is kind of weird one to judge. He's obviously very good, but he's not in the top 5 tier and he may be closer to 10 than 5 in the next tier. Well never see him in a different situation, fully running the show, but I'd be curious to see what his numbers would look like in a mid-tier place like Chicago if you swapped him for Derozan.

He got 1st team all nba, but advanced stats aren't particular kind to him, placing him 10 or lower in all of main metrics people use despite playing all year (PER, WS, BPM, VORP).

In this case he's playing regular-D checkers instead of 3D chess though.

Tatum's a fringe Top-10 guy. Can certainly make an argument he's the best of that next tier with KD, Booker, AD, Lebron, Mitchell, Brunson, Dame, Ja, Paul George, etc. Nothing that he's done this postseason has really dispelled his reputation. He's not an MVP impact type regular season dude, and he's not a consistent playoff riser.

With Giannis injured for the last 2 seasons ... noone is taking him first unless you are a Bucks fan. Though I am a Bucks fan, I am taking ...
#1 Tatum
#2 Edwards

Both young, super athletes, super aggresive, motivated and healthy as f@k.

#3 Jokic and maybe
#4 Wembaniama ... why would I risk to get Giannis the train wreck ?

Since noone cares the sheep is off his territory doing dumb stuff, it is painful but necessary someone around him starts barking to get his ef together and get back on track.

I am a father of 2 kids myself.
I even correct them, when they are off and they are little angels, why should I make an excemption on a grown @$$ millionaire who I support 11 years. Its not hate, its actually true love.
