Leonard, Holiday and George would of been a nice defensive trio of wing players.

Actually thought we had a serious front office trying to trade for Brogdon. Would have kept that thought if they pivoted and traded for Jrue.

Instead, we got old, out of shape, playoff choking Harden.
:banghead:

Harden played decently- he had some solid playoff games and some bad ones. If Kawhi were around, he could have picked up some of the slack. He wasn't terrible on defense either

Brogdon's on the wrong side of 30 and always hurt. And we were still giving a draft pick away in that trade. Let's be real, that would have been another typical Frank move too.

Couple guys I monitored for FA signing as they might clear let go from their teams; All those guys below are under 30 and probably at the level good enough for rotation but needs larger roles then their current teams could provide for them. Also the reason why they might be available for league minimum contract as I saw them unlikely to get larger contract extensions from their teams.

-Chuma Okeke PF, Magic will not extend that Qualifying offer. League minimum candidate, versatile bigger forward.

-Cedi Osman SF, Spurs might keep him but I think they will hunt some big names so long his bird right renounced. He will be around for league minimum category.

-Dalano Banton SG, Portland already has 13 guaranteed contracts with 4 draft picks coming in the 24 draft includes 2 lottery picks means guaranteed roster spots. I don't think they will extend him so I'd take Dalano in a heartbeat over Russ, Bones or BJ Boston. His last month heroics might enough for other teams to offer him more than minimum though.

-Trendon Watford PF, Nets will likely prioritize Clowney's development along with Claxton and Sharpe. This dude rebounds, scores inside, have a touch and pass the ball decently.

-Xavier Tillman C, Celtics doesn't have his bird rights. He might search for a larger role which we can offer. Good back-up PF-C

-Jordan Goodwin PG, Memphis will have Morant next season so Goodwin seeks a rotation role on another team. He did fine enough to be in the NBA with his recent stints with Wizards, PHX and Grizz. good PoA defender with quality size.

There are better players than this list obviously but not realistic to get it for league minimums.

I know what you're thinking: "Oh no, George joining ESPN for Games 3 and 4 in Dallas means he's going to pick up his player option and request a trade to the team who defeated them in the playoffs - just like when Chris Paul requested a trade to the Rockets because of their 3-1 collapse to them back in 2015! History repeats itself! What shall we do!? OH - WON'T SOMEBODY PLEASE THINK OF THE CLIPPERS!?"

Eh, no, let's hold our horses. There's no need to jump to conclusions, this is just a guest spot, not a hit job.

If only he would pick up his player option, so then we can trade him in the offseason.

You're both right.

Yeah he’s done this for years. He knows Leonard is an easy target because he’s not going to engage in it in any way.

I was mostly posting for PG’s reaction of laughing and Bob Meyers having to grab his arm to stop him.

Does Harden even have any other rumored suitors? I've heard a bunch about PG, but nothing about any other team interested in Harden.

Sound like anyone we know?

Nurse says the Philadelphia 76ers are looking to add someone who can space the floor and shoot along with defend and rebound. This makes you believe they are looking for a bigger wing who can play on the outside.

The 76ers are expected to have about $55 million in cap room.

I think he's joking that the guy the 76ers want is Coffey, not PG

Please let him move on so we can move forward. If Kawhi wants to go, if he leaves than so be it. We can trade him. We can resign Harden on a cheaper deal 3 for 90 or so. If Harden wants to go too than, Id rather start over.

Yeah I get it. I thought I was caught up with the current page but somehow missed/skipped over the post where the joke originated from.

Good grief. PG and Embid were not subtle on the show tonight.
