The only difference between last year and this year was Towns. How did we do in those respective years? Oh right.
It wasn't acquiring Conley for a full season?
It wasn't Gobert being fully healthy?
It wasn't Edwards making massive improvements?
It wasn't NAW making 3's and developing?
It wasn't Naz Reid going from a 34% 3P shooter to 41%?
None of these were different?
Did you guys watch the Wolves this year? They played with a chip on their shoulder. They actually put in full effort on the defensive end. I don't think Towns has ever led a defensive-first team in his career sans Kentucky.
KAT had DLo and ran a 46 win record the year before. So that's garbage argument about Conley, he makes the whole team better.
See my comment above. Gobert has anchored a handful of 50+ win teams in his prime.
Gobert was fine. And if he was that injured he should have sat.
No, players play through injuries all the time.
Statistically Ant didn't get a whole lot better.
Wrong. All the All-in-ones have him improve a ton. The most important stat in basketball [+/-], has ANT making a major leap in impact this year.
NAW played like 15 minutes a game.
He played 23 MPG, which is half of the game. So, quite a lot of minutes, actually. He played in 1900 minutes all season and never missed a game.
Reid is your only real argument and even then he also played limited minutes.
Nah, NAW played in nearly 2K minutes and Reid played in the exact same amount of minutes as NAW.
I am done talking circles around you. Have a good day Notepad.
