I personally think Aaliyah is overrated as a player. She reminds of Ayton. Talented but just to soft

I just found out that Marine Johannes' contract got suspended so she can't play for the Liberty this year.

I hate these sh*t rules man

Her regression across the board is alarming, I have to admit, and I like AB. But she's down statistically in every area, even rebounding

Clark
- Doesn’t operate super well off ball when AB is in the post. She just stands there.
- Running p&r and hitting AB in the short roll isn’t the best spot for AB. That’s not how she become the #1 pick.

AB
- She isn’t that rim running, athletic play finisher that CC works well with

So when each person is in their spot (CC in pick and roll or AB in the post) the other is in a a position that isnt their wheelhouse. If CC can get downhill she can create for Boston, but that hasn’t happened yet.

But both have things to work on to make this pairing work. Or they could just trade AB.

I noticed this too. AB is not very good at the rolling part of PnR and CC looks completely lost when she has to watch someone post up.

Again, I know these are individual weaknesses but the coach needs to figure out how to use what both players do effectively in coordination. Like let CC and AB play a two person game where CC dumps it into AB, and then immediately runs off of a screen to shift the defense. There's a bunch of different ways to maximize both players but right now it just looks like everyone is lost

And another complaint: why isn't Clark used as a screener off ball?

Girl needs to watch some Steph Curry/Reggie Miller tape

Just keep running around until someone loses you.

Right. Why is she standing still when she draws a ton of gravity

Their offense or lack thereof is really easy to defend.

Wait, they are gonna do a Team USA vs WNBA All Star game. This is great for the fans but there is always a chance Team USA loses.

Cant wait to see CC vs this Team USA!

I was looking into this earlier today. This is going to be fun to watch. I’ve never watched WNBA all-star weekend.

It’s right before they leave for the Olympics right? I hope they play hard. No fear of injury. Probably the toughest team Team USA will face.

The Chi Barbie is trending towards that rookie of the year.

She went beast against the Sun. She doesn’t cry about the physicality, she just battles.

You can tell she from Charm City.

This is why clowns like Stephen A need to sit down and shut up. Let Chiney, Monica, Andraya etc speak on women's hoops. I wanna hear unbiased analysis not some clown crying about how no one wants to roll over for CC.

Chiney, Andraya and Monica all do a great job discussing hoops -- women's hoops, AND men's hoops as well.

As for CC, it's one thing to struggle with a tough matchup (props to players like Carrington and Laney-Hamilton who've given her the business) or have an off night, but I hate to see her giving up during games.
Just because it happened to you, doesn't make it interesting.

In theory, there is no difference between theory and practice. In practice, there is.

Yesterday I was lying; today I'm telling the truth.

Only thing negative to say was a joke about how she was shooting worse than Jontay Porter, and he was trying to miss lol

She was fantastic last night though, I had the Sun game on with the Finals in the background, Reese was giving us the business

Marina Mabrey on the other hand...

Chiney, Monica and Andraya actually have to watch games and prepare analysis because they don't have the privilege to get up on TV and talk out of their asses.

Stephen A is an entertainer. A loud and oftentimes wrong one at that. Those three? They're analysts and damn good ones. For both leagues.

Yeah I was flipping back and forth. Mabrey was terrible last night

I think this might have been Angel's most efficient game as a pro. I don't put too much stock into rookie efficiency because it's gonna be some rough nights, but she was dropping interior buckets against arguably the league's best defense. And rebounding your own misses ala Moses and Rodman is a skill too lol

Honestly, I feel bad because I quietly underestimated how well she would adjust to the physicality, but the rebounding, defense, all of itis top notch. I'll never doubt her again

Same here, I really underestimated her. I was watching NCAA tourney games with my mother-in-law who coached AAU and her daughter played in college. She tripled down on Angel Reese being a star player on talent. Honestly, I thought she was going to far and I’m gonna have to eat crow. I was def off on this one. I just hadn’t watched enough women’s basketball to put into perspective her motor and athleticism.

Long story..but I think a lot of new women’s bball fans have to hold space for the fact they haven’t watched a lot of women’s pro basketball yet.

I been following Reese since her Maryland Days since I watch alot of Maryland Basketball and go to their games from time to time. They are my one of my favorite college programs.

Reese is destined to be who she is, cause she bets on herself and has supreme confidence in her abilities.

Even tho on the exterior she comes off like a girly Diva... she is a rugged beast... she actually works hard at basketball.

People thought she was bugging leaving Maryland, but it literally was the best decision she could have made cause she was being held back there.

It was weird seeing her blow up at LSU, since I knew about her for a few years before LSU, and she was heavily under the national radar.

She has an Elite Motor and is a fighter....that will take her super far.

She will never have a pretty game... but I dont care. I like that her game is funky. Makes her more Unique.
