I can’t believe I never checked his HLs before but he looks great lol like he just instantly became my favourite at 31 lol although I don’t think he makes it there.
I was just listening to the No Ceilings podcast and they say there are rumblings he goes late 1st. I like the way he reads the game to the point I actually might even be mad if we took him at 19.
So far I’m liking him, Mitchell or Kolek with that 31st (in that order)…it’s kinda crazy that all 3 seem like higher bball IQ players that just lack the great physical traits but could turn out to be steals. I don’t obv mean stars or anything but I could see any of them be incredibly solid rotation players and that’s all you can ask for in the 2nd round.
Scheierman is fun, he never lets nerves get to him. He just goes out there and plays the game and fears nothing.

They've got 3 picks in this draft alone and a veteran stacked roster with guys who can very easily be packaged for a star like Jimmy Buckets. If ever there was a year for them to go all-in, this would be it.REJECTEDBYCLARK wrote:I think Edey can be a star in the NBA. Who is going to stop him?
The pick and roll because he can't defend it.CPT wrote:No way LA takes Bronny at 17. He may very well end up there, but they'd at least try to save some money.
Trading down to 24+25 with the Knicks is right there.

He looks like the SG version of Luke Kennard with better playmaking skills. I'd be down at #31, but I don't see how the Celtics would pass on him.

It’s funny because I had Jalen Johnson 4th on my board behind Cade, Scottie, and Mobley. And this year I REALLY want us to take Ware.

If we draft position as priority we are crazy.

Sure, the idea that guys have more upside when they are younger is valid. You also want to be careful if a guy is 23 and beasting on 18 and 19 year olds. However, guys still have plenty of upside at 22 and 23.
To the people wanting to avoid 22 and 23 year olds, look at our team right now.
Scottie Barnes, 22 (23 in August)
Immanuel Quickley, 24 (25 in a few days)
RJ Barrett, just turned 24
If those guys don't have a lot of upside left, we're **** cooked anyway. Especially the latter two (though honestly, if Scottie sticks at fringe All-Star instead of All-NBA mainstay, we're still **** cooked).
While most of us want to tank next year, we also probably don't want to wait around for 3+ years for a 19 year old to be productive.
