This isn’t the direction I’d go, but brook and Bobby for Randle?

What problem does that solve for us?

Only way I deal for Randle is Donte coming back.

Brook would have to be going out and you're primarily going with a Giannis at 5, Randle at 4 lineup. I'm not a Randle hater like some, but with a 2-3 year window left I'm not sure he'd be the guy I gamble it on. But in general, I do like a Giannis/Randle/Mid frontcourt over one with Brook in it. So would listen and see what other stuff would come around it, cost, etc

Randle, Trae Young, Ingram, Towns, Lavine if you consider him an all star talent still.

Not really confident any one of them gets moved but it wouldn’t be surprising if someone does.

Nothing says defense like Julius Randle.

I’d rather have Orange Julius.

I know we like to devalue our own assets, but Bobby averaged 20/10 in the 9 games when Giannis didn't play in the reg season and 16.5/9 this postseason, including his bozo early ejection. Now that may not hold up for an entire season, but only 5 players averaged 20/10+ this season for context.

So is Sam Cassell and honorary Celtic for life now? Part of the 2008 roster and 2024 coaching staff, is Brad Stevens crazy enough to lose Cassell to a conference rival? Poaching Sam should be priority number 1 imo. If the plan is essentially running it back with minor tweaks, strengthening Docs staff is likely the best way to make the roster better.. GO GET SAM!

I don't know how easy it is to poach assistants. Are they all under one year deals? Is "lead assistant" considered a step up and can't be blocked like in the NFL? Does Sam even want to leave and come here (I know he's best friends with Doc). This is going to be an interesting summer in many ways.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

MIL Out: Portis and Connaughton
MIL In: Thybulle, K. Williams, OKC 2025 1st (Lottery Protected) and #40

Bucks add a couple picks, POA defender who can start next to Dame while taking on Kenrich's contract and dropping below the 2nd tax apron to gain access to the TPMLE.

OKC Out: Dieng, K. Williams and OKC 2025 1st (Lottery Protected)
OKC In: Portis and Connaughton

Thunder get a PF who can start next to Chet and a veteran bench wing while only giving up some bench pieces and likely their lowest of four 1sts in next year's draft.

PDX Out: Thybulle and #40
PDX In: Dieng

Trailblazers dump some future salary and add a young PF for #40 which is likely expendable since they have 4 picks in this year's draft.

Bucks then draft Holmes (23), McCullar/Shannon (33) and Mogbo (40) and sign De'Anthony Melton (TPMLE) and Dario Saric (vet min) to fill out the roster.

PG - Dame, Melton
SG - Thybulle, Green, McCullar/Shannon
SF - Middleton, AJJ, Beauchamp, Livingston
PF - Giannis, Saric, Williams, Mogbo
C- Lopez, Holmes

The only way Cassell comes back is if he really wants to come back. And maybe he does, coaches with his buddy and for the franchise he's probably most associated with could certainly be very alluring. I could also see him being a strong contender for the Cleveland job. I could see him going back to LA, this time with the Lakers if they hire Redick with the thought process of getting a very experienced assistant but also if Redick looks in over his head, Cassell can be your in case of glass break option.

I think there is an option where Doc tells Sam he is going to promote himself to GM/President sometime in the next 14 months and make Sam head coach. That would get his attention. All speculation of course.

If Giannis is healthy, Bobby's value to us is considerably lower. If Giannis isn't healthy, then nothing else matters.

I think the Clippers value Mann too much to trade him but they also know they lack size. A straight up tade for Bobby and Mann probably works best. They can keep Powell and move him to starting the starting two guard.

Mann fits, but we're not the team throwing in picks here.

I think he was just explaining why Bobby has more trade value than what were getting in many of the proposals posted on here, and I agree.

I like that Bobby for Terrance Mann trade, we need a better defensive sg than Beasley for sure.
