Eh, the Bulls may finally be going into a much needed rebuild. We offer nothing in that regard.

It's not bad value for Caruso at all.

Giddey gives the Bulls the Lonzo replacement they've been trying to find for 2 years and if they do and his shortcomings matter a lot less for a team that is not as far along like the Bulls than for others

It's fine value for Caruso. Giddey's obviously not a straight up bust but he's a pretty flawed prospect that's tough to build with/around. Chicago takes a flier on him and maybe even extends him for a reasonable amount just like they did with Coby White. It's just funny how people keep being surprised when these meh role-player guys inevitably don't end up going for anywhere near the absurd demands that these GM's leak to the insiders. Now, watch Dorian Finney-Smith get traded for an expiring and a couple 2nd-round picks (hopefully to us!!).

I can’t believe the Lakers actually hired Redick. I mean I guess it worked out with a guy like Kerr, but how they go for a guy with zero credentials as any type of basketball coach let alone a head coach boggles the old noggin.

Can’t see it ending in anything but disaster but good luck to him.

LaVine to Philly kind of seems inevitable now.

Nowhere near as great as Sammy Hagar, The Red Rocker.imo

Giddey sucks, he's a role player on cruise control. Talented but useless. The Bulls are dumb, OKC wins another trade.

For the Bulls, it's not about the trade, it's about almost always bringing in the wrong kind of player. A team that wants nothing more than to win exactly 40 games every year.

Hopefully Lonzo comes back next year, then they can have two Lonzos! Low pair before the flop.

Giddey is weird as hell and one of the biggest cornballs I’ve seen in the nba. He needs the ball in his hands but is not good enough to for that. Can’t believe I’ve seen him being mentioned as a Khris trade target

I'd be shocked if they didn't. Dort kinda works here, but that $17.7 million a year contract is troublesome. Think I'd rather roll with AJJ and hope he develops, than pay the OKC price.

Great deal for both teams. OKC gets a title type role player. Bulls take a flyer on a guy with a chance to be Kukoc part II.

I'm not sure we're in the window for "I hope he develops" for anyone on our roster. We need to spend a bit to get another 'chip more than likely, unless Doc can unlock the Lillard/Giannis combo punch.

Like that trade for both teams. Bulls get a guy who will play fun ball and can sell at least as a potential guy for a bit. OKC will have a monster small ball team.

Definitely keen on Dort. Don't really care what he costs.

Honestly a pretty weird trade. Would think Giddey's value couldn't be any lower. Bulls must really like him?

I agree, just that I'd rather use those assets at another position if the prize is only Dort over AJJ.

I agree that it's not as bad as it's being portrayed, as the Bulls really needed playmaking and a player over 6'4", but at the same time, they had gotten better offers.

I think they should tear it completely down, field a team of rookies, and try to get a star next year.

Caruso is in the final year of his deal and is almost a non factor on offense. Bulls are buying low on Giddey. If he hits great, if he misses they wash their hands.
