In a world where we trade for the #3 pick, who do we take? Clingan, Sheppard, or Williams I assume?

Coming out of the draft with Clingan and Dillingham would be wild

I'd trade down and see what kinda damage we could do to PLand for the 7th so they can draft Clingan.

I watch Stephon Castle and I get SGA vibes. Could he be there at 7?

Idk, but is Dillingham a serious enough talent for the Heat to break their NO KLUTCH tendencies? He's a talented scorer, but the man is gonna be a disaster on defense in the nba. Small size, light build, mediocre wingspan, inconsistent effort, & mediocre fundamentals is a terrible combo. (I listened to a quick interview he had with the guys from Numbers on the Board/Through the Wire. He ain't defending ****, and he knows it) He might have that last bit of Kentucky magic but sheesh.

He's 165 lbs out of Kentucky, Maxey and Herro were 198 & 192 respectively.

I'll try to put it gently - Dillingham doesn't sound very sharp.

He's not our type - not with his game nor with his mentality.

He might be a good scorer for someone - but he won't be here.

I would be extremely surprised if the Heat draft Dillingham. The only reason I could see the Heat drafting Dillingham is to use him in a trade, whether its for a vet or to move back in the draft for more picks.

If Jaylen Tyson is truly a Heat target, how far could they fall back in the draft and still get him?

I agree, I don’t think Dillingham appeals given we already have Rozier who is a small guard and a defensive liability.

Dillingham reminds me of Brandon Jennings, He needs to go to as team like Atlanta or somewhere where he can take all the shots. He looks like a high volume scorer like Trae Young that needs the ball all the time. I cant see him working well in MIAMI which is no knock on how good he can be. Orlando would also be a good spot for him based on their roster.

Has anyone heard any legit rumors about who the Heat like? It's getting down to wire.
KOC somehow heard about Jaime and the heat last year, but I don't see anything like that this time.

Has it been reported by anyone if we have even worked out McCain or Da Silva?

I might be wrong, but this might be another case of draft experts having no sources on the Heat, and either making their mock based on vibes, copying others, and process of elimination. McCain and Da Silva are especially those type of pics. They've been putting them at the heat range for months based on vibes alone, and likely have nothing to contradict it, so there they stay.

We are taking a player who has reported working out with us in order in how they did in those workouts and who will be there. Collier, Ware, or Edey seem the most likely choices with a pleasant surprise pick of Jaylon Tyson. I don’t think Holland or Carter will be there.

Edey/Ware are just too rare for us to pass on.

They're the type of player we just can't otherwise get. Legit size and length with legit skill, you jut can't find this type of Center in the Gleague or for the vet minimum.

We have to take one of them, it's our only chance to add a Center that Spo will play next to Bam.

Both come with risk, but it's a risk we need to take.

And i'd move Herro for a second pick and add another more safe guard/wing player, be it Tyson, Holland or someone else we like.
