2024 NBA Draft Thread, part 2 – (June 26 & 27)

Like I keep saying, if you guys are expecting the Celtics keeping the #30 pick, you will be disappointed.

Well it's getting down to the nitty gritty.

If they were gonna trade it, I figure they probably would have traded it by now..

Filip reminds me of Mo Wagner.

But he's worth a 2nd round pick, if you're the Celtics.

Nuggets doing almost the exact sort of trade I wanted the Celtics to do. Well they are a smart front office.

Literally just gave away three second round picks.. Which will all probably be late in the draft.. Boston easily could have matched that..

Not a good defender. But did show some nice weakside rim protection and flashes of defending out on the perimeter.

Keep in mind, he's only 19...will get better, lots of upside.

Also, that Ignite team he was on was horrible defensively. A bunch of 19 yr old kids playing against 25-30 yr old pros who were current/former NBA players..which made them all look worse defensively than they are. Plus they had guys in and out of the lineup all year on that team, no consistency..

Yep as I said earlier the Nuggets only have their own seconds, so if those seconds are anytime soon they won't be great.

Bronny better drafted with #31 (I know we dont have it). That way you can hang onto the rights, but arent obliged to offer a deal

The guy's a pretty good shooter, 19 years old and 6'9. If he was also a great defender he would have gone in the lottery. Anybody the C's pick will have flaws.
