I for one am all for a Bol Bol & Boo Buie line-up!

Also, it's only fitting that Ghost would share news on a player named Boo.

bwgood77 wrote:Lets be real though. None of us know what these guys will do or how good of pros they will be. We have not picked a player past 27 that did anything for us since Dragic in 2008. Before that it was Ceballos in 1990. So 2 guys in 35 years. We took Bogdanovic at 27 but he never played for us.

So as far as immediate contributors for us, aside from Dragic, we haven't actually taken a guy who contributed for us the next season after pick 21 (we took Finley in 95 AT 21).

So to expect much here as we probably do every year with all our picks, especially in a bad draft, is a stretch.

Obviously a lot of guys, including the MVP, get drafted in the 2nd round.

So of course it's possible we hit on both. Siakam was drafted like 27th. Brunson, Brodgon, and Herb Jones in the 30s. Dejounte Murray at like 28.

Leandro Barbosa was #28.

And to say now this is a bad draft or a good draft is irrelevant because now it's just a cheap prediction. Numerous times perception about a particular draft has changed in just a few years.

This draft didn't have a consensus #1 at the top, I agree with that, but (like on every draft) there are gonna be All-Stars and very good starters in this group of guys.

Draft summary:

#28 Ryan Dunn
#40 Oso Ighodaro

2026 2nd rounder (via DEN)
2031 2nd rounder (DEN)

Two-way contract: Jalen Bridges

Exhibit 10-day contracts: Tyrese Samuel, Boo Buie.

(The Exhibit-10 attachment gives NBA teams the ability to convert the contract into a Two-Way deal, but only if they do it before the start of the regular season.)
