Solid move. Not a defensive stopper, but definitely competent.

Hate to break it to you but pretty much everyone available to sign at our price point is either bad, old, or both.

So he can hit at that price point?

Someone like Wright is close to as good as we're going to do unless someone chooses to take a discount to try and build their value playing next to Dame and Giannis.I would classify him as much more on the old side of things than the bad side.

Seems about as good as we could hope for given the situation. If one of the young guys takes a leap that's two guys added who can play some wing D with some athleticism.

Out of those defined as Point of Attack Defenders on bball index, Delon Wright ranked 5th overall in 23-24.

The five above him:

1. Caruso
2. Suggs
3. D. Daniels
4. White

Of these players, Wright was 2nd offensively to White (big gap obviously)

What's your list of better players who will

1. Sign for the vet minimum AND
2. Want to sign here.
I'm against picketing but I don't know how to show it.

Damn, that takes me out of it. I'm a little slow laterally.

CraftedNBA ranks him pretty high as well. I think he is the best of the minimum guys at that spot. Definite better fit next to and backing up Dame.

Not so fast, you're not out of this.

Slow and old are two of the top traits Horst looks for in a player.

I like this move a lot more if he’s the 7th/8th man and not the starter, but we will see on that. We did badly need another ball handler in addition to the defense.

This is a solid Beasley upgrade and a much better fitting one. His defensive and ball skills will be more valuable to us than Beasley's volume shooting. One of those on the margin moves that we're going to have to nail and this is a good start. Nice

(Not suggesting he start, upgrade in terms of roster spot)

I don't view this guy as a needle mover, nor a guy who will be an important part of a "16 game" rotation. I mean the Bucks are his 9th team. But for a vet minimum he's fine.

We've still got a lot of work to do IMO.
