Agreed he shouldn't start, but I think he could end up being a 20-minute a night player for us. All the backup PG minutes (13ish) while also playing alongside Dame (7ish minutes). If Bev could play 20 a night for this team, I don't see any reason Delon won't do the same. It's entirely possible he ends up closing games for us next year.

Has to be better than what Crowder gave us last year. Please do not bring him back.

I hope this dude wasnt signed to start. This board ok with him starting

He won't be a hindrance to one of the young guys starting in the regular season, which is why I like the move.

Couple years later than I would’ve liked, but I’ve wanted him here for a while so I’ll take it lol.

We've still got a lot of work to do IMO.

“This is his (insert number) team,” shouldn’t be a barometer of someone’s value.

Not gonna get many vet min guys better than Delon. He's one of the guys I was hoping we could get, figured he would have just stayed in Miami though.

Have said this before, but defense is so cheap relative to offense that any well-managed team should be good defensively as a matter of course. The only reason you should have a guy who's not good at defense is if he's taking a deal way below market.

Heidl isn't signing a vet min.

I think AJ Green can start in the NBA right now. It'd take him over Heidl, all things considered. But I like the idea of what Wright brings to the SG spot as a starter. I think he can competently guard 1s, 2s and 3s if I'm not mistaken.

Feels like this board has been calling for Delon for 5 years now, the prophecy has been fulfilled

Some (like me) were calling for Pat C to be traded for Delon during this last trade deadline. It was a surprise that he was bought out by Washington. I’m sure we had a lot of interest before Miami swooped in and we had to take Gallo instead.

I wouldn’t be surprised if we promised him at least a shot at the starting spot. Plays good D, can shoot a bit, and seems like a guy who knows his role and doesn’t try to overstep his boundaries. It’d be nice if he was a bench piece, but regardless of the role he has in the rotation, he’s on a 1-year minimum and if he doesn’t work out, we trade him. If he fits like a glove, even better.

Fringe rotation guys frequently become key guys when they hit the Bucks. This is shaping up to be another one. Love it if he's still on the right side of the Delfino cliff.

Would still be happy to bring back Bev if that was a thing

NBA Reference has a database for this.

https://www.basketball-reference.com/leaders/most_franchises.html

There are a few nice role players on it. That said, I'm not sure you want to be the "ninth team" but rather the second or third team.
