Yeah how they handle the Miles situation feels like the last litmus test.

For sure - Anything 25mm or under with a team option would be another win in this market.

Makes sense, new FO isn't going to prioritize the prior regime's development projects.

I'm starting to wonder if these guys were brought in to get ready to sell and move the team to vegas.

They literally just signed on to a new binding lease to play at the Spectrum Center until 2045 in return for 200+ million in upgrades

The Center market is looking really bad.

Wiseman, Muscala, Yurtseven, Tillman, Thomas Bryant and Mo Wagner (rumored to be heading back to Orlando).

Scraps for sure. I know no one is big on Mo, but I get to watch him quite a bit here in Orlando. At the very least, the boy is intense. He's a competitor. Wouldn't mind Bryant as a third wheel if forced to choose. Wiseman could be fun for the frustration alone - after all, he was my guy in that draft *munching on crow.

If we care to have good depth at center we're going to have to trade for someone. Vucevic, Carter, and Looney, are rumored to be available. All of them would give us a different look at 5 and are a good fit imo.

Looks like Sengun might be available as well. Although I imagine the Rockets want to go star hunting with him and Green.

UPDATED Post Josh Green Trade...

Two ways to view Charlotte cap space right now.

View 1: We operate as an over the cap team.
Bring in Josh Green and Reggie Jackson into our cap space via trade.
Miles is held on his cap hold of 15 million
Would require we waive one of Poku/McGowens
(would require Bertans to be waived)
We would be at 140 million in cap.

Meaning we could only sign guys using exceptions
Room Exception $7,800,000
Bi-Annual $4,682,000

View 2: We operate under the cap team.
- We release Miles from his cap hold.
- We bring in Reggie Jackson via Room Exception.

In this Scenario we would have around 20 million in Cap Space if we waived Bertans
or around 7 million if we held Bertans at his full cost.

Short View
Option1: Miles + 2 exceptions
Option 2: 20 million in cap space and Bi-Annual $4,682,000 (no Miles)

I like Wiseman as a project big if he can be had for the minimum. He's been a disappointment but has a soft touch and teases with some big games here and there. He's only 23 and perhaps his defense can be cleaned up a bit with some coaching.

Orlando Robinson is interesting too. I watched a lot of him at Fresno state. He's highly skilled and has a couple seasons of Heat culture under his belt now. Spolstra was always singing his praises
