Not very athletic or a shot blocker but has great length and defensive instincts and was part of the best defense in the league. He was able to guard bigger wings and forwards very well and he is a great communicator. There aren't many back to the basket post centers that he would have to bang with but i'm not sure how his rebounding would hold up at the position.
On the offensive end his lack of perimeter shooting wouldn't be such a big deal at the 5 and he would add extra ball handling and playmaking to the second unit. Could he hold up as a bench center until the Knicks found a better option? He would also be able to give them depth at the 3 and 4 if they did.
I'm not sure if the Knicks could afford to obtain him but maybe he would take a discount since he is from the area and i'm not sure if the Wolves would want to pay to retain him with all the money they have on their books. Could they afford to add Kyle and retain Precious?
I like it
