The gap in quality between Ayton/Hield and the rest of the roster is mind blowing. Gordon looks even more washed than he did last season (he just made his first basket for Bahamas this summer after 14 misses), VJ Edgecombe is a top prospect but he's still very young and the rest is abysmal.

It depends on where you are. In Europe most of the games are broadcast on sports networks such as ERT in Greece or SportKlub in the Balkans. I watched some of the recent friendlies on Sport Slovenia.
I took a yearly subscription to courtside1891 at €25/year as I watch a lot of FIBA ball. I think they have a cheaper offer for the OQTs.

If you're signed up to a betting site (which likely you aren't) they always provide for most of these major international events. (Or FIBA has its own paid app i believe Courtside# something but that's paid and not sure on country restrictions).

Is it free to sign up for a betting site? Like I'm not interested in betting, but would it let me watch games for free or do I have to put bets/do a deposit to access games?

DR beats Egypt 90-77. Egypt led by 6pts after the 1st quarter but then it was all DR, the lead was cut down by bench players in garbage time. Montero leads DR with 17pts, Andres Feliz had 9/5/5 but was +34. Metwaly leads Egypt with 24pts.

Halftime line at Bahamas +1.5-- even with this 7 point lead for Finland. Taking that line every single time and pounding it.

Yep, the same guy! I think after a stint in Magic's G-league team he played in the BIG3 (Aliens Team if I'm not mistaken), then some other weird basketball "league" in US, where the winners would win 1 million dollars (do not remember what was the name, but I suspect the quality was not super high). And then last season he returned to Europe, first part of the year he played in Turkey and the second part in Spain. He was a Euroleague level player, when he went to the US, now not anymore, but still a quality 8th-9th player on a FIBA team I would say.

Not most games. Not anymore. ERT doesn't carry any Finland game this year :(

Miro Little is having a rough game offensively so far. Sucks to see.

Miikka Muurinen is definitely intriguing.

Valdez Edgecombe Jr. seems really, really good. I can see why he's mocked in the top 5 of the '25 Draft.

Yea it's quite obvious watching him why he's so highly rated, he's been Bahamas best player, he's by far their best defender already and he's been great offensively as well.

Bahamas with a 3-point lead with 1:22 left in the game. Let's see if Finland can pull off the upset.

Oh, yeah, he seems absolutely great. He's gonna be a fun player to watch for years. Definite NBA material.

Having the best players is important in basketball, and Bahamas had the 3 best players on the floor. Doesnt matter if Finland had the next 10 best, Edgecombe, Hield and Ayton won this game for Bahamas. Gordon was pretty good in the 2nd half. Ayton was a traffic cone on defense but he dominated on offense. I just dont see how that Bahamas team can beat a better balanced team like Spain. They're basically 4 man deep, Lourawls Nairn, their 6-man, has never played pro ball and stopped playing after college 6 years ago and has been an assistant coach in college since then, but here he is playing 15 mins for his national team.

Good game from the 2 french league finnish players Jantunen and Maxhuni with 20pts each.

Latvia dominating Georgia despite an ugly 3Q they finish this with a big 20+ blowout win. Thought Georgia would be better but i guess even without KP this Latvian team is among the tier 1 teams this OQT.

Guaranteed 2-0 this group play, i think it’s easy pickings for them to rule that semis matchup too.

I had Latvia as the 3rd best team in those OQTs behind Greece and Slovenia and before Spain and Croatia. It was an easy game for them even with Rodions Kurucs having a bad day.
