Moving OG over is not a long term solution given his injury history.

I can see Precious coming back for his versatility.
Whoever we get needs to be able to protect the rim and rebound

Not as worried about back up PF, but if we lose Precious, then those alarm bells go off as well.
At least the PF market is not as bad as the C market. Some of the players listed are fine (gallo, Saric) I think there is probably at least one Morris brother on the FA market. JaMychael Green is a player. Cedi Osman. Usman Garuba is a kid I liked in the draft a few years ago. There are some others names as well, but these are just a few that stick out.

Disagree and think we could use more front court depth.

At this point, beggars can't be choosers.

Not even sure we have even enough money to even go bargain shopping but how about these two:

Thomas Bryant
Omer Yurtseven

There's clip after clip on YouTube of Bryant playing inspired ball on both ends for several different teams. I love everything about this dude's game -- great hustle and passion, skilled offensively (three-level scoring ability -- this dude can hit 3s and then the next play down, he's looking to throw a monster dunk down on some guy's head), good rebounder, can protect the rim somewhat.. Looks very quick and agile for someone his size and you may not find a big in the NBA that runs the floor any better. 6'10" 250 with something like a 7'5"- 7'6" wingspan which is absolutely crazy. Soon to be 27 years old. I think Thibs would love this guy's energy. Would be an instant crowd favorite-type. This guy's no scrub -- he can play!

Remember Yurtseven? Dude was a Summer League sensation with the Heat a few yrs ago. Didn't really do much in Utah from what I can see, but this guy's a 7 footer that can play. Real good footwork and touch around the rim. He can even shoot a little if allowed. I think he'll rebound enough. 26 years old.

Perfect world, go get me both of these guys for additional front court depth and lets roll!

There is probably more available on the trade market, just need to sit tight for a few months and see what pops up.

I used to follow the Knicks regular season intensely, because, face it, that was all there was going to be. But we are in a new ERA. Precious is fine as a backup center. It really all comes down to who is healthy for the Playoffs. If we NEED a center I trust this FO to get a good one mid-season.

I mean his defense was for sure, but what did he do personally that was bad?

When he was with us, the team was kinda in the tank, and he was atrocious on defense as usual. He wound up benched for younger bigs Mitch Robinson and Luke Kornet, and he threw a public tantrum over it. He would brag about being a good teammate while also demanding to be traded if he wasn't gonna get minutes. It was pretty obnoxious...though, I started hating him before the tantrum.

His game was easy to hate. It was a "get mine" style where his defense was non-existent, and his touches were almost guaranteed to end in a shot or a turnover. He played selfish ball, then acted selfish when he got benched for it.

Yeah he's an awful teammate. Maybe calling him an ass hole is a bit much on my end but is what it is. He's a crybaby and one of the worst defensive big men I've ever seen.

He kissed the floor better than anybody I ever saw. That’s something.

What’s Dwight Howard up to these days? Or is there anyone else that we can pull out of NBA retirement or from overseas that may be interested in ring chasing? There has to be Someone

these mid level exceptions need to be renamed. how about the low level exception and the really low level exception or maybe the scrub exception. I don't know what mid-level players are making 5.1 million these days.

We should just sign Precious now and not fck around. Is Walter Kessler really that much better than Precious?

Just for 6-7 minutes per half.

Hakeem could easily give a solid 14min/game as a back-up. Even at age 60.
