I know it's a mostly BS position, but the other side of the good news is that he doesn't appear to hold a grudge for being traded and still looks at Charlotte in a favorable light.

I hope Melo sees how beloved Kemba is and decides to grow up and chase that same relationship

So this thread gets to be moved back to the "Current" list in the index. Neato.

Very well-deserved and it puts Kemba one step from a full assistant's role, while giving him some experience in the coaching industry.

Could not have picked a better mentor for Melo than Kemba.

Not sure it is a BS position, he can teach basically any player in the NBA how to create space and handle the ball. Probably the best at doing stuff off the dribble in the league at his peak.

His position is called "player enhancement coach".

I assume that's something to do with nutrition or fitness.

He wasn’t exactly complicit in that debacle either, though. But welcome back, Kemba.

How loud is Spectrum going to get when Kemba walks onto the court for his jersey retirement?

I take player enhancement coach as someone who works on individual fundamental skills with each player, like shooting, dribbling etc. Hopefully he teaches Tidjane how to dribble

The only player in the NBA who might be able to teach Kemba anything about dribbling is Kyrie. Everyone else could learn a thing or two from him.

Not to be confused with someone like Lebron's enhancement guy. Has him eating Clen and Trenning hard

Wouldn’t mind having that kind of guy on our medical staff either. Turn Salaun into a freak

Kemba goes down as the best Hornet PG ever (sorry Mugsy).
Eddie Jones would of been my best SG but his lack of longevity means it's hot to be Dell Curry.
Best ever SF has to be Glen Rice man could that man shoot.
PF there's know one else but Grand mama himself LJ.
Best C and know one has come close is Zo our original enforcer.
I know it's a Kemba thread but couldn't resist doing my greatest ever Hornets team. That's a championship team.

I agree with this list

The only other change I could suggest would be if we could somehow move rice to shooting guard and move Gerald Wallace to small forward I would have Gerald Wallace over Eddie Jones on my starting five.

Kemba
Rice
Wallace
Lj
Zo

Baron
Jones
Mash
Mason
Jefferson

Melo
Curry
Jackson
Miles
Divac

Muggsy
Wesley
Gill
Marvin
Diaw

My 4th team is cheating a bit on positions
Off the top of my head but I'm sure I'm forgetting someone

Trying to go 5 deep and Wow our big man situation is disgusting once younger down to 3rd or 4th team

Kemba/Rice/Wallace/LJ/Zo first team is a no brainer

Muggsy/EJ/Mashburn/Mason/Al

Melo/Dell/Jackson/Bridges/Okafor

Baron/Terry/Gill/Batum/Vlade

Felton/Wesley/Tripucka/Hayward/Campbell

Muggsy and Dell are getting longevity points here, in no way were they better players than Melo or Baron. Honestly the centers could go in any order after Big Al. Had to fudge SF/PF there towards the end lol
