Jazz want a first round pick for everyone

Some may not want to hear this but if Utah moves Kessler, the potential idea of getting Ware from Mia in a package deal for Lauri becomes more sound.

Don’t think Ware can be traded for 90 days

30 days but he’s not getting traded regardless.

I don't see Riley, Arison, and Spo tanking. Last time they did that they ended up with Beasley. Ultimately I guess it worked out because they got Lebron and Bosh. Only way I see it happening is if Bam gets hurt.

Brandon Ingram is a guy I keep seeing mentioned in trade scenarios. I don't know much about his game, but he's $36 million expiring.

I also keep seeing his name linked but the Pelicans are looking for a Center and we don't have one to give unless they view Jovic as an option there with Williamson.

Duncan Robinson would probably be on this list as well if he was a free agent but we sit here paying him close to 20 million a year and have too much pride to salary dump him that we are asking teams to give us assets for him. With the way things are going we are going to keep our pick this year and it's going to be the last pick in the lottery while we give OKC unprotected in 2026 and Hornets 2028. This will than officially lock up any hope of being able to trade 2029 and 2031 next year. Fun times

Eh, Dru Smith is a two way right? He could be gone at any point. If he's picked over all the promising pgs we have in summer league this year I'd start getting pissed. Plus with Caleb gone, Highsmith is NEEDED with the team as it currently is built. Our perimeter defense is hanging by a thread. And for 5.5 mill a year? That's not even a lot.

Tbh it's more in jest, at that price, he's fine. But don't get me wrong if the FO could have given him the Martin contract, they would have in all honesty. And I just HATE seeing Dru Smith on the court. I do not think he has anything about him that screams NBA quality and I see no reason why Spo should play this dude ahead of anybody, which he most likely will even being on a 2-way.

Before he got hurt. He started to look kinda nice. He's little shifty and moves well see what he looks like post injury. I'm not second guessing Spo and Co when it comes to the bum squad.

I think they just use him as the potential Gabe Vincent replacement. You know, the whole positionless team stuff where the Heat plays PG by committee. 3&D guard, goes where he's supposed to, doesn't need the ball. I get it, it also lets Jimmy/Bam/Herro/Rozier have the ball. I hope they are looking past this soon tho, this style for the Heat has just ended up with trash offense. I dont expect Stevens or Pullin to ever be starters, but having more young point guards that can feed our young big men would be smart for their development.

Spencer DinWiddie a 6'5 215 PG just sitting out there but yet we gonna try to reclamation project Dru Smith with 5 SG's on the roster.

They can't even build a proper roster. Still with this positionless nonsense so they sign 5 Centers and 5 shooting guards than Spo never plays any of the Centers with Bam and the shooting guards are forced to play the 4 and we have no natural floor generals cause everyone is a PG. This is just senseless chit at this point.

Pat and Spo do not tank. Ever.
We got 2nd pick that year because Wade was out for the season with shoulder injury/ surgery.

If Bam (Knocks on wood) goes on to have a season ending injury. And us having our pick protected. I could see heat pivot and sell assets and do a soft rebuild. Other than that, forget it. Next man up mentality always.

Since Jimmy forced himself here, what have we done?
Overpaid Herro. Overpaid Duncan instead of extending or keeping Strus who plays defense. Traded for Lowry and gave him 3-90M. Traded a first for Rozier mainly to get Lowry off this team. Tried to overpay Caleb by 5M per annum.

Thank God we can draft well and develop players. Cuz our FO when it comes to roster moves/contract valuations and negotiating trades is literally bottom 5-10 imo the last several years.

Don't even get me started on the Tyler Johnson and JJ and Waiters fiasco years preceeding Jimmy. Jimmy forcing himself to come here saved us and made us relevant. Pat has a decade of terrible moves otherwise.

Probably not. All trade rumors, ideas, scenarios are inherently unlikely to actually happen.

If however Ware continues to play at a high level in summer league and Utah moves Kessler, the idea of Mia building an offer around Ware, Niko, and Herro n whatever draft capital they can offer for Lauri, isnt completely unreasonable for both teams, is my point

Trading Herro and his 30 million to the Jazz is unreasonable when they have young talented guards already on the cheap. Might as well just pay Lauri the 20 million extra over Herro’s deal. Lauri told the Jazz he wants to stay.

They literally only draft well lol if Wade isn’t gifting them stars they’re fuxked. Burks is a solid vet pickup but ultimately not a needle mover on a team that lacks 1 more star

Money is drying up, a lot of these guys are going to end up signing for the minimum prove it type deal while we have Bryant and Love locked in on deals and Herro/Duncan combining to make over $50M lol

Terry/Tyus
Trent/Jaime
Jimmy/Burks
Jovic/Highsmith or Bey or Morris
Bam/Ware

That’s easily better than what we currently have
