There's zero chance Kolek will be going anywhere anytime soon. He answers a big need we had even more than Deuce does. If anything, Deuce is a trading chip. Kolek is a Knicks for the forseeable future.

If Ainge says "No Kolek, no center" then that's part of the price.

This is a trade not a one way heist. I sure Ainge wants a lot of things , he probably wants Brunson too. But he is only getting what the market dictates.

Ainge wants to be breast fed while getting plowed by 8 first round picks in every available orifice

Ainge has no pressure to trade his center. Knicks have pressure to get a center. He could also just keep the big man and see what happens at the trade deadline

I would argue exactly the opposite. It worked perfectly for Ainge before. He went from taking the Knicks offer without key pieces (which we were right to withhold) to taking the Cavs offer which was a mountain of picks and what Lauri has now become (big surprise).

From our perspective I think we are better off with Mitch, Bridges, OG, Precious (maybe) rather than just Spida.

Only "maybe" better over giving up all those assets in exchange for a midget defenseless backcourt?

Listen, over the past year, I have been unwavering in my support of not giving up the farm for Spida even though I have always liked the player. Trying to be charitable to the others
