He's going to be a leader on this summer league team. I would go as far as saying he'll be a key reason why we will be competitive with a good defense.

He’s a FVV or Jameer Nelson type of player. The undersized dog who can full court press.

At the minimum, these guys bring intensity into your practice and they force your starter guards to become better players. Coaches love these kind of players.

The one thing Jamal badly needs to develop is his 3 pt shooting if he wants to succeed in this league.

There is just something about this guy. Everything about him screams "success". Attitude, work ethic, strong family support, athleticism, speed, strength, motor, processing speed, IQ. I think he will figure out the 3 point shot after a couple of seasons.

I have a feeling he will be as good, if not better than anyone we drafted this year. Hopefully they all pan out & become the next gen.

Shead isn't doing anything fancy out there right now, but what he is doing contributes to winning basketball.

I find the team is running better with him on the floor over any other options at PG.

His defense is as advertised & he is not forcing his offensive game. His shooting form and 3 ball have looked good so far. Looks like an NBA player to me.

I think Mitchell will probably be a stop gap until Shead can take the reigns as backup PG.

There is pressure on Davion. He will really have to elevate his game if he wants to stay on the roster long term.

That was a nice make. Not a great pass, but he was able to catch, quickly get his feet set, find his shot pocket & still get the shot off fairly quickly.

He was also a couple of feet beyond the 3 point line & the shot had a nice arc to it..

Greg Anthony kept saying Shead reminds him of Lowry last night.

Greg Anthony has always been a fan of Lowry and would always refer to him as one of the best team defenders in the league.

Worth noting, Kyle really wasn't a 3pt shooter either until he was 24. Made an insane jump from being a 27% shooter the season prior (on 2 attempts per game) to being a 38% shooter (on 5 attempts per game).
