My guess is they start Watson on the 2-way, but he works his way into the back of the rotation and so uses up his days and gets converted mid-year.

Brad essentially said they’re leaving 15 open at least for a while. I think Watson will get 2way too.

Rico saved his SL because of other things. Now he knows what he has to do with his shooting the next couple months. Good thing it seems Celtics shooting coaches(?) can help.

Who is Rico?

As of now, yes.
I also think that Davison gets cut.

Yeah, they can line him up with JT and work on both guys getting their shots back.

This is where you'll see how much work Pritchard put in to get where he is now playing wise and money wise. Late 1st rd pick, undersized and older when he came out. I give him all the credit in the world for what he became. His cockiness was all business. I hope Rico see's that and follows that same path. If he doesn't, he'll be playing SL for not only the C's but maybe someone else. Pritchard knew he had one chance and he gave 1000%. You get what you give. Rico has the intangibles that Pritchard doesn't, he needs to focus and set high goals for himself.

I like Watson. I wish he were a little bigger, but beggars can't be choosers and such.

I think he's good sized with a 7ft wingspan. He could definitely play big in a small ball lineup and if he can knock down 3's he'll be a tough matchup for teams.

Yeah, he's not tiny, but it'll definitely be small ball if he's the only big. It's exactly the position I wanted to have another guy at, so it's all good. The shot definitely needs to come so he can play with another big. Then it'd be great. As a sole big, it's limited scenarios is all. But he's an end of 2nd round guy, so any scenario where he contributes is found money.

They do have a 2way, I think will be Watsons but you never know.

I’m actually really digging the new three way terminology around here these days.

The Scheierman nicknames somehow got out of hand immediately.

Yeah I could see that.

From some of Brad's quotes today, it seems like he is in no rush to fill that 15th roster spot..seems ike he likes the flexibility of having it open and being able to fill it later on, depending on team need..

So perhaps Watson gets the last 2-way and we leave 15th roster spot open. And we'll have nothing else to talk about rest of offseason except Hauser extension..
Nothing wrong with having a different opinion - as long as it's done respectfully. It'd be lame if we all agreed on everything :)

If the other big on the floor with him is a shooter (like KP or Al). then he can play with another big, regardless of how his shot is coming along.

I'm pretty confident that he'll be able to shoot at least respectably well so would be able to fit in pretty much any lineup. We just won't need him to play much, on a team this deep and talented (even with KP out for awhile..)

It's just relying on having another big that shoots great like Al/KP is more limiting is all. Who knows how long Al goes, but this could be the last year. KP has 2 years left/injury history and posters trying to trade him ( 8-) ).

Having the shot and being able to slot in with Kornet or Queta will make him that much more playable. I agree that it seems like it'll come.

One of the Celtics -- I think Scheierman -- looks like some movie character named Rico.

Or maybe it's Peterson. I'm pretty sure it's somebody white.

I prefer Ramsey taking JD's spot as a 2-way.

Ramsey might come in handy when the team needs a spark off the bench.

His ability to get buckets is high level.

Although he's really not a PG, he's that instant offense type of guy.

It would be so hard to shine with such little opportunity. I really hope he starts and gets 30 min per in the G League. Tatum-lite might still be possible.

Rico, Watson, Ramsey, and if healthy, Scrubb.

Rico takes Oshae's spot.

Watson takes the 15th spot.

2-way for Ramsey.

If Scrubb is healthy, make a decision on Davison or Peterson.
