Kolek reminds me a ton of Nash, down to the haircut (Dallas days) and the high dribble prior to the tricky stuff.
He just doesn't shoot like him.
Unfortunately he defends like him

As good as Kolek passing is, his defense is just as terrible.

Not a rotation player being that bad defensively

There was a couple times he just looked at Ron Holland as he drove past him. Like a Kevin Knox level of resistance. Theres a lot to like about him but they were trying to target him in summer league. It’s def gonna happen in the nba.

I feel like Dadiet has a certain amount of Michael Beasley about him.

Dadiet is still not hitting shots from the perimeter but I do like his off-ball movement cutting to the rim.

Dadiet is worth a few years of development. There are some things he does really well. It's good to not have to tie all our fortunes to our draft picks anymore though.

There’s def a bunch of raw talent there that needs to be developed but there’s some solid basketball instincts there. It’s really interesting that they decide to draft this kid cuz he doesn’t really fit their usual archetype. Hope they can develop him.

wow, Kolek. the guy has the eye of the tiger. winner. leader. Crazy how good he looks. he keeps his dribble. his passing is next level.has that sixth sense on the court. he just needs to drill his footwork on D and get on that Steph Curry curve of adding muscle and he will have a chance to make a name for himself in a couple years.

probably on another team, but still.

dadiet... all of the intangibles have been present for an 18/19 yo prospects.

motor and effort/court awareness/defensive presence/rebounding for his position/shot mechanics/free throw shooting/ball movement/shot selection

the perimter shots havent gone down but he has some nice potential. Hope to see him develop nicely over the next 4+ years

I like Hukportis' hands, motor, size, effort.

No reason he cant be developed and at worst slide in the jericho sims role in a year or two.

Kolek is a pro. If he can become a pick you up, 94 feet activity guy, that will suffice.

I like that he can get to anywhere on the court. He makes good risk:reward plays.

Develop an in between game to make up for his size/athletic shortcomings. He should have a nice long pro career. He'll be extension ready after year 3.

Exactly. He’s not getting the playing time that the fanboys here think he is.

One thing's for sure - Tyler Kolek is a player that is fun to watch.
