He’s dropping out of the race. No one is calling it a concession speech in the news, you Silly Billy.
What do people in the news have to do with anything?
If you make a concession to someone, you agree to let them do or have something, especially in order to end an argument or conflict. 2. countable noun. A concession is a special right or privilege that is given to someone.
He is not conceding VICTORY. He is conceding his nomination to Kamala Harris.
I wonder if they'll both give concession speeches in November?
I truly hope not. I don't think this path to victory for Trump is any easier than it was last time. People really are tired of his BS. His base is not the entire Republican voter base. It damn sure doesn't include the independent base or the non committed dem base at all. If people come out to vote, he will lose. If she can pick a great running mate, he will lose. If she can attack him on his flaws and lies, he will lose.
The issue with Biden was age. He wasn't able to be quick enough on his feet to dismantle Trump as he lied his way through the debate. That turned a lot of people off as well. Kamala doesn't have either of those problems. She just needs to be focused and she can EASILY destroy Trump on the debate stage. She needs to be strong and harsh with her messaging and she should be able to swing some non committed voters just by pointing out how deranged and unhinged Trump is himself. He is now the old man that can barely make a coherent speech amd haa to wear diapers. It will most likely be his downfall too.
