Just a guess but this might be combined with the Utah/GSW bigger trade for Lauri with Knicks providing the 'salary matcher' in Precious and then ending up with Kessler and Looney.

I don't think the Mitch Rob Salary is needed in this trade if Precious is included as a salary matcher .
