Dončić has a decade to prove it. Same with Shai Gilgeous-Alexander.
I really don't get the other options. Especially players like Dirk and KG, that are clearly talented, but never really ascended to Kobe's level. Those just seem like troll picks.
I also feel like Anthony Edwards should at least be an option. Probably not the right answer. But at least an option.

The fact that a bunch of people are voting for KG and Dirk should tell you that not everyone shares your opinion. I think there's plenty of evidence that Dirk, and especially KG, were more impactful than Kobe ever was. Not every star is lucky enough to play with the stacked deck Kobe had for most of his career.

Honestly, I hate top 10 lists in general. You can't really compare a guard to a wing to a big man. Different skill sets.
And to shoot my shot:
Jordan is the best guard.
LeBron is the best wing.
Hakeem is the best big, although peak Shaq was better when he was motivated.
Because love can burn like a cigarette.
And leave you left with nothing.
Leave you left with nothing.

I think Rob Dillingham will rank higher than Kobe when it’s all said and done

None.. longevity a factor.. some of these pushing 30 or above and haven’t done anything.. but Jokic could b a good one if he somehow repeats his consecutive mvps/finals seasons somewhere down the road, or keeps playing at a high level and the nuggets championship contenders at least kuz Kobe did have his share of losing seasons where he was putting up empty stats

KD is going to finish his career with more points than Kobe. I'd say he's had plenty of longevity. Ditto KG, Dirk, etc.

The OP is still obsessed hating on a player that has been retired for 8 years and even DEAD for 4 and a half.

Then the same person complains because some people rank him too high....

Let it go man, you are just pathetic at this point

For some of these guys it's hard to see what Kobe's argument would be. KD for instance crushes Kobe on both ends of the court, which the stats back up. It's not KDs fault he spent the first 8-9 years of his career on OKC teams with no shooting instead of being Shaq's sidekick.
