Dumbest team I've ever seen, no matter who is out there. Year after year. Freaking idiots

No Olympic medal since 2004. Last gold medal was 2000.

What an anchor run. At least USA has this gold today.

It's actually hilarious how it keeps happening. Basically a tradition now to get 3 guys in the finals and botch the relay.

Who made the mistake there? The hander or the handee?

I wouldn't be surprised if the answer is just yes.

Yes, commentator, the Germans did indeed bring excellence to T&F and W shotput over the last four or five decades. There was that stretch from GDR...

Mostly on Kenny B, but it was a pretty weak close from Coleman as well.

The opening leg looked fine. Watching it live it looked like #2 Kenny went WAY too early.

These guys are an absolute embarrassment. The U.S. relays have been a disaster for far too long. These guys need to put their egos aside and practice their damn handoffs.

I’d rather bring an NCAA squad than watch this crap again. At least they’d get the baton around.

Paulino with a 48.17 400 flat.

Insane. Sydney finally has a worthy rival if she wants to make the switch.

in hindsight, US should have kept the guys that won the heat instead of adding Bednerek and Kerley, they ran a faster time than Canada did in the finals

OT but why is the Chinese shot putter wearing glasses? Not sunnies, but corrective vision glasses?

New Zealander, final throw....... 19.68. Commentators just said she slipped on her first throw. Ring was slippery just after it had rained. Such are the fickle circumstances of outdoor events.

That young German lady wins Goldon her final throw. Clutch.

Looks like Hepathlon 800m played out the where I thought it would.

Anna Hall did managed the best time, but she was too far behind to have it matter.

Thiam was 9th, Johnson-Thompson was 2nd. But Thiam had enough of a lead to hold onto 1st... Bronze medal did go to Vidts who was 5 points behind Kalin, but was a better longer distance runner and placed 4th in the 800m to Kalin's 10th.

1: Thiam 6880
2: Johnson-Thompson 6844
3: Vidts 6707
4: Kalin 6639
5: Hall 6615

The American men ran one of the greatest 4x100's of all time and got silver in 2012. Tyson Gay caused the team to forfeit the medals a few years later though.

In 2008 it was seen as a huge screw up. Now it's seen as a joke. How can four of the greatest sprinters on the planet screw this one up?
