No, given choice to pick one I would always value Eurobasket the most.

That's weird. Understandable i guess since WC/Olympics is not a sure medal.

Its also more local

You are playing against your neighbouring countries in your neighbourhood

Not against USA somewhere on the other side of the world

This is why its more personal for a lot of people
And outside of usa not being there and maybe argentina in the past no one really sees the difference in competition level enough to care

this tournament proves that the Nuggets are screwed. Jokic is declining(3pt shot), Murray is dead in the water and the young players are not ready.

Sure. Point is he’s not getting any younger, so i won’t be surprised to see him pass on some tourneys like last year.

I actually think we will see Jokic play for Serbia more now that Nuggets are getting weaker as it is more likely he will be out of playoffs sooner

This is not something I am wishing on the Nuggets but the less deep Nuggets go into playoffs the more I see Jokic playing for NT

Maybe that is not true, its just what I expect from knowing about him and knowing our NT

Maybe, but it might as well be the last time we saw Jokić in Serbia jersey. I hope not, he seems to be having a great time.

Serbia was the biggest threat to USA. I don't think France has anything for them, it's Wemby, Gobert and a bunch of other role players.

USA isn't bulletproof. These main dudes are getting old. Guys like Ant, Bam and Jrue need to step up today.

I don't think France has that d a w g in them like the Serbians do. France will fold against USA.

France should play zone and clog the paint with Gobert and Wemby.

Its one thing to hustle around against lesser skilled players. That kind of thing wont fly when the other team is more athletic and better. I expect Bam and AD to take Yabusele and Lessort out of the game. Then france simply does not have the guards to compete.

Canada and Puerto Rico had basketball teams in the Olympics. Proximity to the United States and its unique system of developing basketball talent is superior to any other area on the planet. The world has not caught up.

Just looked up what futsal is…basically indoor soccer? I played it once up in Wisconsin and it was actually really fun. Great workout

For them Bronze is a gold. No one was winning against this super team. Curry’s gold is going to be great. I expect Curry to score 30 plus today
