I almost feel sorry for the guy at this point. He’s a great player but that narrative.

He can't shoot so he has stopped taking open jumpers. It's all in his head.

He was sub 30% over 140 3s in the playoffs.

You could give me a tenth of his career earnings and I would let you say whatever the **** you wanted about me.

So is there really such a difference between the international game and the NBA that we have Marjon on the roster instead of one of these French or Serbian no-names that kept it close against an all-star team?

These games were legacy enhancers for Lebron, Durant, and especially Curry. Good for them. The first two are not always guys I root for, but I respect them, and this gold was not a gimmie.

Amazing tweet. Hopefully this board lightens up a little bit because the hate he was getting during the playoffs made a bunch of you look like bitches.

Eh.

He's a douche.

Tremendous tweet though.

We’re really going to need a great season out of Lillard.

If the overall Gold total wasn't on the line, the US Women losing would have been worth it for all of the hot Caitlin Clark takes.

I mean, yes, but why in response to this? Because Jrue was on a team that won gold because Steph went absolutely nuclear?

Jrue was pretty neutral. His on ball defense wasn't so hot, but he held his own when switched onto bigs (valuable), & made some key shots when left open. Many others could have been fit in that role w/out the US skipping a beat, but he did his part.

It's more that Dame needs to have a great season then win a 'ship here to not have a loser legacy & for us to have remotely justified giving up 3 extra 1sts while aiding our chief rival. Health provided, I think he & we'll do it. The chip is on for the ship.
