I love the Fevers ball movement on offense. Caitlin is on fire right now.

- NaLyssa Smith is just being fed layups from everyone. She just hangs around the baseline and defenders forget about her lol.
- Kelsey Mitchell is catching on fire once Clark went to the bench...she didn't get the ball as much with the ball mainly in Clarks hands early in the quarter.

Clark is elite in transition. This is a masterclass

I think she's generated like 90% of Indiana's points

Her passing is some of the best I've ever seen.

I'm talking both leagues.

I love how she sprints full speed every time no matter what because it creates chaos for defenders. It always catches the defense off guard when they should already know thats what she does!

Boston and Clark have very good chemistry

I'm not surprised. This is not the same team that started out the season. They are running Phoenix off the floor with high IQ basketball. Everyone is on the same page.

Jeez. Fever came out with awful offense this whole 3rd quarter. It's like they forgot everything that they did well in the first half.

I really want Lexie to become a 3 & D wing player. Nailed 2 triples tonight which was nice to see and she's playing as good of defense as you can on Copper.

I just think that the Fever would benefit by getting a stronger defender into the #2, #3, or #4 slots, so if Indy could swap Mitchell for a player of equal value who fits that bill, the Fever would be better off. And Mitchell would also benefit, by going to a team where she will see more of the ball.

I do really like Mitchell. When they can't find a shot, they can throw it to Mitchell, and she'll create something.
But the Fever's defense is lacking, it's a glaring weakness. The thing about Mitchell, she's a veteran, she's an All-Star, so there could be a cap issue keeping her.

As for the game tonight, they looked unstoppable at first. But then the Mercury made their run, came back from a 28 point deficit to take the lead. The Fever looked kind of like they did earlier in the season, that is to say, not so good. But they responded well, and got the big win. Beat a team with three gold medalists, swept them in fact. Not too shabby.

She got overpowered at times by Copper which led to some fouls, but overall I think she did a very admirable job in making things more difficult.

Wheeler is another big expiring contract for Fever. They can resign Mitchell and grab free agents with Mitchell slot.

I hope Mitchell wants to stay with Fever. Having her be a scoring machine next to Clark & Boston is a trio they should want to keep. Add Smith to that and some new players.

Maybe Fever look to trade Wheeler before the deadline.

Yeah she has a slim frame that struggled against bigger wings, but she definitely has hustle & effort on defense. If she can become an average to above average 3point shooter she will be valuable next to CC.

Yeah, they should definitely let Wheeler go, she's too expensive and not a good fit. Sides seems to like her.

I still can't get over how CC was driving and dishing last night.

Just high IQ play after high IQ play. Once the extra defender commits, it's an automatic bucket for the Fever.

Phoenix fought back (literally) but let's be real, Indiana was beating the life out of them for that entire first half. Scary stuff.

As a fan of the sport, her play style is just magnificent to watch. I feel like she's an even better passer now at the pro level than she was at Iowa.

She knows how to use her gravity. What a nightmare she is and it's only year 1

I know this sounds strange, but in some ways she is actually underrated. One way is floor leadership. She is as good as I have ever seen, men's or women's, at knowing when to speed up the game and when to slow it down. She is also terrific at clock management. Yesterday at the end of the 3rd she took a long 2 pointer early in the shot clock. I have never seen her do that before, as it's a low-percentage attempt and she's such a percentage player (aside from the occasional bonehead pass, it must be confessed. But then I realized, 35 seconds left in the quarter, she's playing for the 2 for 1, and if she passes the ball she can't trust that her teammate will recognize the situation and make an similar decision. :D

She hit the shot, the Mercury missed its attempt, and the Fever then had enough time to come down and hit a 3. In 35 seconds, what had been a 3-point Fever lead and a tight game became an 8-point lead heading into the 4th, and the Fever cruised from there.

She is it.

She's the definition of a floor general. Reminds me of when Jason Kidd played for the NJ Nets in the 00s tbh. She has complete command of the offense and she knows how and when to hit her teammates now.

Any shot Fever have at any of these players? Can't imagine Stewie wanting to leave NYC. Building around Boston & Clark is nice where they don't even need to go after a star since they have those 2. Role players or star level role players is all they need.

Stewie is ours. Don't even try it

Fine, but Sabrina to Golden State 2026! She’s coming home baby!!
