Looking forward to Kolek. I have no idea what we'll get from Dadiet this year. He might be a year away from even knowing what we have, assuming he hasn't been traded by then.

Kolek is going to play. They can play him with Deuce as the second unit backcourt to have some defense and another shooter next to him.

The guy is going to make some noise.

It doesn't matter if we signed Payne who could be good for us, but if Kolek facilitates serious scoring runs when his unit is on the floor it will be hard for Thibs to keep him glued to the bench.

I think the guy may be a real catalyst in a way we had not seen until Brunson arrived. I love Deuce, but Kolek bleeds PG blood through and through. He's going to find ways to set up guys or get his own buckets.

Yes, we're deeper than when IQ and Grimes and Deuce were drafted, but that's the point. Kolek looks good enough to earn backup PG minutes on any team.

I have been impressed with this kid from day one. My only issues is his size and his defense. He really does have great vision and passing skills. He can shoot. High BBIQ. Can't wait to see him play more.

Not sure how it works out with playing time though. He doesn't appear to be a defensive stud that Thibs loves and, he's kinda small. He's going to have to earn any minutes he gets with Deuce and Cam here.

If he provides instant offense his defense will be forgiven as long as he plays limited minutes

On the championship teams we had smaller, high scoring guards to help increase the tempo. On the '73 team, Henry Bibby and Dean Meminger were often put in the game together and called "Instant Offense." I'm hoping Kolek and Deuce can do the same - there are so many options this season, I'm curious to see how it all plays out.

That would never happen but to answer, a little less than $900k apart.

Knicks are really high on Kolek. And my guess is that they are hoping Dadiet can fill out and turn into a stretch 4.

I think a key reason why they signed Payne is because Brunson won't play 82 games. 3 PGs makes sense. They can shift small forwards into the SG role, or a SG into the 3 and play smallball, but you need a PG basically all the time. Payne/Kolek both behind Brunson means they'll always have a PG, unless 2 guys are injured.

Ainge is going to need a caucasian back when he trades Kessler to the Knicks. The Utah fans demand it.

Kolek can’t play any defense, I’m hoping he gets moved along with Dadiet for Kessler.

I'd counter with a light skinned brotha and 2 protected picks.

Thibs better play him. I think he has a realistic chance of shooting 100% from 3 for the year.

I think you're low balling his prospects
