Clear as day to me.

Things got weird with the Captain press conference and the fact Randle never extended in the summer when.

He still thought he was either top dog or co-top dog.

He’s at best a 3rd option, easy solution, ship him out.

No one is gonna miss him standing at the 3 point line pouting because he isn’t getting the ball then walking back on defense. No one is gonna miss his awful dribble isolation sets where he shoots a terrible contested step back.

I won't miss him either, never liked his attitude but I will appreciate what he has done for the knicks. He did take discounted contracts when no one wanted to come here. The minute that there was no extension the last few weeks (if he had signed, coudln't be traded during deadline)... it was writing in the wall.

Randle's contract was a double edge sword. His contract is great for our cap space because that's an undervalule contract. But the moment you want to trade him, you could never get equal value for him with 1 for 1 trade. I never thought the Knicks would trade him for a few role players, our depth was already crazy. I figured it might be Randle and Mitch for whoever.

Anyways, KAT is a 3 fcking level scorer. He can score anywhere on the court. If both players were albatross on defense, may as well get a rare big man that can score on 3 levels.

I think this is a trade where the Knicks actually got worse.

The Bench did , but a guess because there would have been a huge minutes crunch and we still have Deuce its not that big of a blow... Starting line might be better , or should be... but I'm worried about front court play making.

We lost Ihart and now Randle... I do like that we can go man for man interms of shooting with the Celts , I just hope Towns can play the way he did versus Denver in the playoffs - and I don't mean stats - he always gave that - I mean bringing a tough minded Defensive mentality
