Oh, man. That’s sad and shocking. **** cancer. RIP Dikembe.

Pretty consistent correlation with rising cancer rates and increases in height unfortunately.

Blame it on the mtor.

Did all the cap gymastics just to exit the 2nd round. I applaud the effort.

KAT at the 5 and Josh Hart at the 4?

Really???

Where are you getting the Josh Hart is at the 4?

The starters are Brunson, Anunoby, Bridges, Hart, and KAT.

Both Bridges and Anunoby are wing players.

You're best to sticking with what you know with the Celtics because you do not know other teams, obviously. OG Anunoby is more than just a "wing player" and is much better slotted guarding PF's than Hart is....especially if the "PF's" that he has to guard are players like Tatum/Brown, Scottie Barnes, Kyle Kuzma etc. A lot of PF's are just tall wing players in reality.

Just because Hart rebounds like a PF and had to play there in the playoffs due to lack of bodies doesn't make him a PF at all.

Celtic fans know Anunoby well because he played 7 seasons with the Raptors.

Like I said, if Anunoby is your PF then good luck with that!

Kinda like the whole series with Dallas, wait until you see us with Gafford and PJ Washington!!!

As if they hadn’t played those guys a ton for years.

What the Knicks are doing reminds me of the 2020 Celtics.

That 2020 Celtics had Tatum, Brown, and Hayward as the PF, SF, and SG.

Tatum was not really a PF back then.

It was just in 2023 where the Celtics lost 3 regular season games to the Knicks.

The physicality of the Knicks really gave the Celtics problems.

This latest version of the Knicks is soft IMO.

Wild that only 9 active players have multiple titles. Three have won with different teams -- Jrue, Kawhi, and Lebron. Five are from the Warriors -- Steph, Klay, Dray, Looney, KD. The 9th one is KCP.

Hoping we add 12 players to this list this season.

Let's be honest. First, the Knicks got better. Are they better than the Celts? I don't know but I know they at least closed the gap a bit. Second, Tatum cannot guard KAT. Kat will post him (and when he keeps him near the baseline, it'll be harder for him to get out on the break). Third, the Knicks are playing chess, not checkers. They will use KAT to go after Giannis when he asks out. They'll lose some shooting (not offense, just shooting) but their defense will be unreal.

We've seen our PG lock down Kat. No one is worried about him. The Knicks are anywhere from 2nd to 4th in the east. They might even end up with the best record. But whe. It comes to the playoffs, it's still a 6 game series at best vs Boston. Unless there are major injuries of course

Lol we say OG for years with Toronto. What are you talking about? He's a good role player. Just like bridges.

What a refreshing answer in a preseason interview. Kawhi's a unique cat.

Thibs already giving DNP-CDs to his first round pick in preseason. He is going to run his guys into the ground by December again, isn't he ?

Salaün looks huge for a 19 year old rookie. He also looks completely lost defensively but that's less surprising.

Return to Boston Celtics
