ainge isnt taking that trash for kessler. let's be realistic here

Utah fans think he will. Ainge rarely does well on his role player trades and that at least lets him save face by claiming to have gotten the 2 FRPs he asked for.

im pretty sure that ship has sailed for kessler honestly. marc stein said we tried multiple times to get kessler before trading for kat.

Why? Both teams probably want to see how the season starts...let's us test Towns & Sims at the 5 before spending some of our last assets on that spot, and Utah to see if someone will get desperate enough to beat Dadiet + WSH FRP.

December time comes, we need to look to move OG Anunoby. Going to have to be creative with a trade, but moving OG for Aaron Gordon would be nice to see.

Ahh so you think 36 million dollars for a player who can’t protect the paint, rebound, finish or defend his position is a good thing ??

We need a banger inside next to Kat.

You don’t have to start anywhere. I can already tell you don’t know what your talking about if you believe Og Anunoby is a good starting PF in this league. There is a roster imbalance. Anunoby does not have the size or stature to play PF on the defensive side of the ball. He can play it in stretches sure, but he is a SF.

So you’re telling me you’re ok with paying 36 million dollars for a 4th option on offense, out of position player who can’t defend his position, protect the rim or secure the defensive rebound? I like OG and I’m not saying he 100% has to be traded. Just saying I wouldn’t mind it if we can get a good PF in return. But OG either has to start at SF with bridges at the 2 and either precious or Kat at the 4, or we need to bring him off the bench in a Swiss army role where he can be more useful both offensively and defensively.

Kat/Robinson/Hukporti
Gordon/achiuwa
Bridges/Hart/Warren
Deuce/Hart/Shamet
Brunson/Payne/Kolek

This team makes so much more sense.

Or.. we have to move Kat to PF and maybe trade some of our G depth for a Pf.

Robinson/Hukporti/
Kat/Achiuwa/warren
OG/Hart/warren
Bridges/Hart/Shamet
Brunson/Deuce/Kolek

I personally prefer moving OG to the 3 rather then trading him. We just might not have the big man depth to really do that unless Robinson is healthy.

But I do not like OG at the 4, especially with his injury history and his lack of size/rebounding

Rebounding is apart of defense. It doesn’t matter if you make 7 stops in a row if the other team gets the offensive rebound.

You can’t say he defends his position, if his position requires the ability to rebound and protect the paint.

He can switch onto Pfs and play the position in stretches, but he is not a full time starting PF. A great SF sure, but not a great PF.

I don’t see why that means they cannot loop back if Sims & Towns aren’t cutting it while Mitch is out. Ideally we won’t need to and can save Dadiet + WSH FRP for something else…and seeing if we can get away with that is probably why they stopped pursuing a Kessler move right now…but if we do need a Sims upgrade in a month or two, and nobody gets desperate enough to give Danny two proper FRPs, why wouldn’t they circle back?

We don’t have enough assets left to blow them in things that end up not being needs, but if we do need a center upgrade that deal makes sense for both teams. Utah gets a bigger wing prospect to add to all their guards & a pick that ainge can hype in the press release. We get fantastic center depth behind/next-to towns (Mitch / Achiuwa / Kessler) for less than iHart is making just this season.

OG is 6-7, 232

Aaron Gordon is 6-8, 235

Celtics just won a title with Jayson Tatum, who is 6-8, 210 at PF. So I don't see where someone would get "he doesn't have the size!" thing unless you stopped watching basketball in 2005.
BaF Lakers:

Nikola Topic/Kasparas Jakucionis
VJ Edgecombe/Jrue Holiday
Shaedon Sharpe/Cedric Coward
Kyle Filipowski/Collin Murray-Boyles
Alex Sarr/Clint Capela

Bench: Malcolm Brogdon/Hansen Yang/Rocco Zikarsky/RJ Luis Jr.

You act like Aaron Gordon wouldn’t be a nice thing at 1/2 the price.

AG is a better PF then OG is.

Better interior defender
Better rebounder
Better finisher (ally oop target)
More athletic
Much better passer and less turnovers
Better FG%
Better playmaker and 1 on 1 ability in general
Faster/stronger/quicker/bigger
More durable
Average annual salary of 21,660,000

= scorers

OG is the better mid range and 3pt shooter
Better perimeter defender
Averages 1 more SPG
Average annual salary of 42,500,000

Tatum averages 9rpg
OG averages 4-5 RPG

Do you see the difference?

Oh…so you believe all listed heights/weights are correct? Idk Gordon looks much bigger to me then OG is. He definitely plays like it
