It's weird to call anything 'shameful' when either player hasn't even played a regular season game yet.
No no, their archetypes are clearly known by now. Mogbo isnt becoming draymond green, why cant you just accept bold statements that arent made blindly.
just because you say it boldly doesn't make it anymore true lol lol.
2. He's Mormon, he was going to Utah regardless.
3. He's never going to be impactful enough to the point you should be losing sleep on his archetype.
4.) 9.5.1.1 vs 2.5.5.1.1 after 1gm shouldn't have you jumping off the deep end.
I actually kinda like him too as a player btw
Asset accumulation is pretty important and missed opportunities add up. But yeah, jury's still out on who becomes the more valuable player. I would hope for a Thaddeus Young level of player with Mogbo. Maybe worse overall, but hopefully he can develop more reliable shooting. I think Mogbo's athleticism, defense, aggressiveness and motor is a notch below of what's desired for his archetype.
My ideal draft was Castle + Edey, but since we didn't get a top 6 pick, I would have went with the groomed Mormon at #19 and Mogbo at #31. To add to that, I wouldn't have traded #29 and drafted Furphy or Collier. Also wouldn't have bothered with Chomche.
Kyle / Furphy (Collier) / Mogbo / Shead
vs
Ja'Kobe / Mogbo / Ochai / Shead / Chomche
