Once Brunson got here we began to see what a real leader looks like on and off the court. Randle for all his talent did not have the mindset to be a Brunson type leader.
KAT has the benefit of having Brunson and a solid core already here so he wont have to go through what Randle did trying to carry the franchise all by himself. After a week since the trade its kind of a relief now that Julius is gone and I wont have to defend him constantly or worry if he will somehow meltdown in the playoffs.
Yeah he was super unappreciated and got way too much hate for no reason. Without Randle, there would be no Brunson or KAT.
Hopefully KAT ends up being a big upgrade over Randle. That would be huge for us.![]()
No.
Dang now we're giving Randle the credit for Leon's tampering to get Brunson here?
*If we're giving Randle credit for getting KAT here, then let's give KD and Kyrie credit, since their spurning the Knicks forced us to sign Randle who we peddled in the trade for KAT.
*And give KP credit too, since his trade request opened up cap space to sign Randle.
*And give Melo credit, since his beef with Phil helped KP to sour on the Knicks.
*Give Dolan credit for bringing in Phil who didn't like Melo and pushed him out.
*Give Walsh Credit for letting Dolan pressure him into the Melo trade.
*Give Chandler and Gallo credit for having enough value to get us Melo.
*Give D'antoni credit for developing Gallo and Chandler .
*Give STAT credit for putting the Knicks back on the map so Melo would demand a trade here.
*Give Lebron credit for Dolan desperately signing STAT to lure Lebron to NY to form a superteam.
