Does anyone think Biyombo is worth a look? As a 15th man? He's been in the league a long time

Reading about Hitler's atrocities was required summer reading when I entered high school. Can't say I'm surprised at this.

I think my favorite one of these was one of the chuds on the CA board was posting about one of these polls seeing who agreed with Nazis which showed both Dems and Republicans were about equal and absolutely screeching about how it proved Horseshoe Theory, but then I actually opened the study and it turns out that while that was true, the group of people who were by far the most likely to say the Nazis had some good points were people who identified as "Moderate"

Essentially what this is is the effect of the right wing rabbit hole on terminally online young men combined with the increase in contrarianism. Meaning people love to play Devil's advocate. "Hitler was wrong on a lot of things, but he had some good ideas on the economy" was a joke I used to hear in high school 15 or so years ago. I would assume a non-insignificant number of people saying so have been conditioned to give everyone the benefit of the doubt more so than they should. They would not know what exactly said "good ideas" would be, they would just assume there had to be some because they're contrarian for the sake of being contrarian or some such nonsense.

The guy who threw people in ovens and gas chambers had some good ideas.

Yes, that would have been understood to be a joke by a person with basic literacy 15 years ago, but now it would be taken without irony as a legit talking point. The collapse of our culture has been swift.

Yeah honestly, I never thought I'd see this stuff being accepted here, but then again two terms of George Bush dumbing people down and then racial resentment from two terms of Obama probably had a lot to do with it.

The last 24 years have been wild.

-Knock knock.
-Who’s there?
-Boo!!
-Boo who?
-Don’t cry mate, it’s only a joke

Additionally, I hope we come together as a country as people as it seems like the mood is rather unsustainable. The 24/7 news cycle wears on people and rightfully so. Here's hoping for a great tomorrow!

Too late for that. Political violence is coming. America took a bit of an economic hit and everyone who was a spoiled vagina for the last 40 years is up in arms. And there are some legit grievances all over the country, but the political and economic elite (and that's both "liberal" and conservatives") don't give a sh*t about regular people, so the shooting starts shortly.

I figure deaths in the thousands. Can't wait.

I always thought Kevin was the most underrated member. Massively talented a la Nick Lachey or Donnie Wahlberg but perhaps a bit underutilized by the Backstreet Boys in the sense that he is filling a role versus standing out. Idk, that might be controversial but just my 2 sense.

This is literally what I have been saying. This election is not about political party vs political party, its about do you either want to have a democracy anymore and sane government or not. This situation is resulting in strange bed fellows because stopping this lunatic and his backers is more important than anything else right now. I hope ppl understand the gravity of this election and hit the polls to reject this.

Believe him when he says these things because his past actions are a huge indicator of what's next. He tried to do a lot worse during his last term but he couldn't burn the safeguards down fast enough. He wanted to have people shot for protesting in 2020. He tried to literally over throw the government to install himself as dictator. He attempted to withhold federal aid from areas that "didn't vote for him". There was nothing "normal" about his presidency. He is itching to hurt Americans. Don't let him.

So, another Trump assassination attempt, thread title changes from Trump Assassination and the discussion is mostly about Orange Man bad.

This assassination attempt comes with a twist though.

Should they jail Elon for putting his thumb on the scale at X for Trump?

Since locking up media people is what we are advocating now

So, when a right wing anti government nutjob wants to kill the president, it's a setup? Hokay!

Also, why do all these assassins suck so much?

I swear, Americans used to take a lot more pride in their work.
