Dante is quickly becoming one of my favorite players.
Super high BBIQ, such great passing, floor vision, and off ball movement.
Should be hands down the #2 PG and pushing Mike for minutes.
Already showing a lot better chemistry with Ant than KAT ever had, pushing in transition, moving without the ball, and making smart probing drives to open up shots for his teammates.
We've needed a guy like him for so long.
Same old crap from KAT tonight, get used to it Knicks fans.
Hanging around the perimeter above the break most of the time, with tunnel vision drives off of closeouts with his limbs flailing all over the place.
Refs already got the memo you can't call KAT for offensive fouls now, could have easily been whistled for at least 3 tonight.
We were really nice in not putting him in any pick and roll action tonight but I don't see how the Knicks can make it work defensively without playing another big next to KAT.
I thought the refs were supposed to allow more physicality this year? They called every possible ticky tack foul on us they could find.
If that foul call on Dillingham that was overturned isn't a foul, then Brunson shouldn't have shot a single free throw tonight.
Dillingham looked really bad tonight when faced with a more physical and disciplined defense. It's going to be a process with him.
The talent is there, there is just a huge learning curve at this level, which is going to be made a little harder having to learn how to compensate for his smaller stature.
We all love Naz, but he wasn't good tonight. Discouraging to see him and Jaden with the same dumb foul problems.
It's early though. But we're going to be a lot better with Naz coming off the bench than starting.
Seemed like offense was totally predicated on generating 3 point looks tonight.
Which is so feast of famine, we can score 15 points in 2 minutes, but we can give up 15 points in 2 minutes too with a bunch of long rebounds and fast breaks.
You have to think it will look different with Randle, who can go downhill and create inside out from the paint.
We played them to a draw while the starters were in, missing Randle and Mike.
I think the Knicks biggest issues are going to be secondary playmaking.
They don't have anyone else on the roster who can help Brunson out with playmaking, who can get themselves or anyone else a shot.
If they expect Brunson to make things happen every time down the court for 35 or 40 minutes, I don't know how that is sustainable.
Anunoby and Bridges are the same player (IMHO Anunoby is better). I don't understand trading (and giving up SO MUCH) for both and having 2 wings who are so limited when it comes to shot creation, and starting a 3rd in Hart who is even more limited.
