What happened to shamet? How bad is that injury? I didn’t see the game but the replays looked like the injury Julius had

I hope they make it into the rotation. Both seem like hard workers.

they're more fun to root for than the guys in front of em. kolek does seem like he can be special. i get that his d is suss but he shouldn't have slide all the way to the 2nd. and Huk looks like a serviceable big which is a lot better than sims.

Give me the skinny. I have to work late and only saw that he's crushing.

Natural gait, covers ground easily, moves off the ball well and finds open spots to get the ball. Has shot three without hesi and nailed most of them. Looks like a legit natural talent at only 19, so it looks like the Knicks FO has struck again

Soooo... Cam Reddish as he should have been.

His ability to read the floor is what impressed me the most. His defense was passable too. Crazy for a 19 year old’s first game in the nba at the garden.

Interesting thought, but yes kind of actually. Cam woulda coulda shoulda had a sick handle so I don't know if Paco has any of that dribbling instinct, but in terms of smooth glide action then the answer would be yes he looks like the natural Cam shoulda been

What I found interesting was all of his shots looked just easy, no tension or overthinking, just seems like the kid may be a natural scorer. Anyway, for one game he showed more promise than we had any reason to expect until now. From this point forward we'll all be watching to see if he's the real deal

It sounded like he told the Knicks FO to not draft him unless he stayed in the US. He is confident and not shying away like Rokas did. That may be who he is, a baller who knows he's got game and the confidence to back it up. If he pans out, to have someone possibly starter level from 19 is awesome. Not to draw comparisons, but it reminds me a little of Kobe's entry into the league

His defense picked up in the later end of the 2nd half. Had some decent moments but earlier on he looked a bit lost. He’ll get it though, especially if he wants minutes under thibs. Tough adjustment period for a guard.

I’m thinking we should drop Shamet and maybe even Sims (or TJ) and then have Huk and McCullar for the last two spots to get us to 14.

Thought I saw a bump...but then after watching the replays there was no contact and they were mentioning his deltoid...so I don't know.

Damn Mculler looks like OG which how intense he plays defense. They compared him to Josh Hart but that defense(if he can play it like that in the NBA) is better than Harts

At least we have an excuse of it being our teams first game together, your top 5 lottery squad has been mid for years now, worry less about us and more about your 5 year $203 million player being more of an impact at intersections than he is on the court.
