If Randle was traded when he sucked 4 years ago no one would even be talking about him or defending him in here. We maxed out his value since then and traded him for a younger upgrade. Best of both worlds for everyone. His Stans got to troll the board for five years. His haters got to watch the team be built into a contender while he was here. We all get to enjoy having a better team now that he is traded.

Facts are simple. 4 years guarantee contract @ 64 million is better than 2 years @ 58 million. Being out for 2 months right off the bat makes it even more obvious the guarantee years are better. OKC ain't picking up his 3rd year unless he's trade fodder. Him saying he was willing to take a discount to stay in LA, then not accept the Knicks maximum offer, was a bull move. I promise you, if he wanted to be in NY, he'd stay in NY.
